Intercom Systems

The SS-1002 and SS-2002 Intercom Speaker Stations may be used with a headset, a built-in speaker and panel microphone, or an optional gooseneck microphone. As an alternative to a headset, a telephone-style handset may also be used. The SS-1002 is a single-channel station; the SS-2002 provides switch selectable access to either of two (2) intercom channels. Both the SS-1002 and SS-2002 come in four (4) versions to suit a variety of applications. The "S" and "P" boxes are portable versions. It has a carrying handle and dual "loop-through" intercom connectors which permit stations to be quickly interconnected using prefabricated cables. The "RM" box is a stationary version. It also has dual "loop-through" connectors for quick interconnection, but the case is designed for desktop or console-mount applications. The "U" box is designed for permanent, in-the-wall mounting. It uses push type wire terminals for connection to the intercom system. In addition to the standard SS-1002 / SS-2002 units, there is a two (2) channel "RM" version. The rack-mountable ("RM") version is suitable for desktop use, or can be rackmounted using the optional RM-14 rackmount kit.

The RM-325 is a 2-channel intercom user station for the RTS-TW Intercom System. It is designed for use with a headset, and it can be placed on a desktop, or rackmounted with optional rackmount hardware.

Speaker Station or Headset Station
Use the built-in speaker for listening and add an optional MCP-90 series Gooseneck Panel Microphone for talkback. You can also turn off the speaker volume, and plug in headsets for private communication.

Separate controls adjust the voice activation level for the headset microphone and panel microphone inputs.

Instantaneous Auto-Reset
Instantaneous Auto Reset (IAR), the newest technology in performance and safety, which uses a revolutionary new circuitry that dynamically monitors line fault conditions. Then, when the fault is removed, automatically brings individual power supply channels up.

Mic Kill Key
You can turn off all microphones on a channel to quickly clear the channel.

Program Input for Each Channel
Connect any line-level audio source for monitoring in the speaker or headset, or for routing to the intercom channel. The program audio to the channel can be set to interrupt while the MS-2002 operator is talking on the channel.

Binaural (Stereo) Listening with External Powered Speakers
You can connect external powered speakers and then monitor channel 1 and 2 as separate right and left audio.

Expandable
Add more channels by connecting optional EMS-4001 Expansion Stations. Each EMS-4001 adds four additional powered channels (up to eighteen channels).

The MRT-327 is a 2-channel intercom station for use in RTS-TW intercom systems. It may be used as a headset station or as a speaker station (with an optional MCS-325 modular speaker). The MRT-327 may be installed in optional console or rack mount configurations.

The RTS RadioCom BTR-80N Narrow Band 2-Channel UHF Synthesized Wireless Intercom System is a revolutionary product offered in today's ever-changing and shrinking RF environment. Providing an unprecedented 25kHz of modulated bandwidth, the BTR-80N narrow band system allows more users per channel in the cramped UHF spectrum.

While providing excellent audio performance, the Narrow Band system provides all of the standard features of the RTS RadioCom BTR-800 system, such as DSP digital processing and Intelligent Power Control.
