WAVE ID® Plus Surface Mount

As our most feature-rich offering, the WAVE ID Plus card readers maximize the value of new and existing ID badges by providing simultaneous processing of contactless and proximity smart cards. This dual-frequency card reader performs at the highest technical standards while serving diverse applications with our signature ease of use. Also available in an SDK compatible model, it can integrate into most software or hardware through the use of the rf IDEAS^® Universal Software Developer's Kit (SDK) This multi-technology reader delivers flexibility to any customer, integrator or end user struggling with different card technologies. In use with the rf IDEAS Configuration Utility, the WAVE ID Plus card reader also functions as a comprehensive card analyzer for determining compatible readers.

The WAVE ID Plus Surface Mount reader mounts nearly anywhere and supports improved authentication with nearly all proximity and contactless cards worldwide. The reader comes in four card configurations (two are pre-set and two are user-definable) and mounts easily with two screws on a single gang electrical box. In addition, it features user-selectable volume control with an optional beeper on/off setting

MIFARE Classic Family

MIFARE Classic^® is the pioneer in contactless smart ticket ICs operating in the 13.56 MHZ frequency range with read/write capability and ISO 14443 compliance.

It started the contactless revolution by paving the way for numerous applications in public transport, access management, employee cards and on campuses.

Following the broad acceptance of contactless ticketing solutions and extraordinary success of the MIFARE Classic product family, application requirements and security needs constantly increased. Therefore, we do not recommend to use MIFARE Classic in security relevant applications anymore. This led to the development of two high security product families MIFARE Plus and MIFARE DESFire and to the development of the limited use/high volume IC family MIFARE Ultralight

MIFARE Classic EV1

MIFARE Classic EV1 represents the highest evolution of the MIFARE Classic product family and succeeds all previous versions. It is available in a 1K and in a 4K memory version, serving different application needs.

MIFARE Classic EV1 provides excellent ESD robustness for easy handling of the IC during the inlay- and card manufacturing and best in class RF performance for optimized transactions and allowing for more flexible antenna designs. Have a look at the features of MIFARE Classic EV1.

RF IDeas' pcProx Enroll card readers are designed for customers seeking to leverage their existing card system for applications beyond building access. These readers are engineered and designed to work with nearly all proximity and contactless smart card technologies. The 13.56 MHz model is compatible with most contactless smart cards and the 125 kHz proximity model provides error-free identification for over 300 million physical access cards in use worldwide.

Featuring plug-n-play functionality, no required software, and embedded configurable flash memory, these readers are ready to integrate with nearly all operating systems, applications, and embedded controllers.

The pcProx 82 Series reader integrates into your software or hardware product through the use of the RF IDeas Universal Software Developer's Kit (SDK). In contrast to the Enroll readers, the 82 Series use a callable DLL or other direct integration methods rather than keystroking (emulating a keyboard device). These low cost readers deliver the card ID in a format that applications recognize, offering nearly limitless possibilities for user identification and authentication.

The family of pcProx proximity card readers eliminates the need for manual entry providing error-free identification. pcProx is compatible with over 300 million physical access proximity cards. This reader allows users to use their building access card for other forms of identification and security throughout their workplace. This product is available either embedded in a keyboard or the standard wedge type housing. The plug-n-play reader comes with flash memory, allowing the user to quickly configure the output to meet the user's needs.
