The Lind Electronics 5420, 5424, 5430, 7330 and 7424 Charging Bay (DECHCB-5439) works in conjunction with theLind Electronics Master Controller (DECHMC-5021)and a Dell AC Power Adapter.

The wattage of the Dell power adapter will determine how many bays may charge at the same time.

NOTE: AC Power Adapter is NOT included. We recommend a Dell AC Power Adapter for this product.

The Lind Electronics Modular Multi Bay Charger begins with the Master Controller (DECHMC-5021). This is powered by a single Dell compatible AC Power Adapter. NOTE: AC Adapter is NOT included. We recommend a Dell AC Adapter for this charger. The wattage of the AC Adapter can range from 45 to 330 watts and will determine how many batteries are charged simultaneously. The higher the wattage of the AC Adapter, the higher the number of batteries being charged, lowering the overall charge time. The power adapter shipped with the Dell Latitude Rugged Notebook or Tablet may be used with the charging system. When charging four batteries or more, a 240 watt adapter is recommended for optimal charging times.

The charging bay for Dell Rugged 5420/5424/7424 is part number DECHCB-5022, and the charging bay for Dell Rugged 7202/7212/7220 is part number DECHCB-5023.

This LIND battery charger is designed for charging the battery pack for Panasonic Toughbooks. The charger uses the Panasonic laptop's AC adapter as a power source or the charger can be powered from a Lind 80 Watt DC adapter. The Power On and Charge Status indicators operate the same as when the battery pack is charged in the computer (when the power is off). The time it takes for each battery to fully charge depends on multiple variables; the state of charge when inserted; the age and condition of battery; the specific battery size.
