AXIS 90 W Midspan AC/DC is perfect for installations where mains power is not an option. With a power input of either 24 V AC or 20-26.4 V DC, it can deliver up to IEEE 802.3bt (90 W) to your network device. AXIS 90 W Midspan AC/DC is plug-and-play and compatible with all Axis PoE devices which require up to 90 W power.

24 V AC can be needed in harsh environments where new cabling or installations are not an option and you need to retrofit box, dome or PTZ cameras.

20-26.4 V DC can be used where battery back-up is needed or for solar-powered installations. Or when the network device is built in another equipment and is powered directly from it, for example, in an ATM.

The power supply is UL certified and it is made of epoxy powder coated copper free aluminum with stainless steel cover bolts and hinges. It is pre-mounted with fuses, terminals, RJ45 coupler and 115/230 V AC transformer, which provides 24 V AC for explosion-protected cameras.

To enhance security and ease-of-installation, the power supply has three open 3/4" NPT cable entries for cable conduits. The power supply can connect to 120 V AC, 230 V AC, or 24 V AC.

The operating temperature ranges between -40°C to 55 °C
(-40°F to 131 °F).

When installed in an IP66-rated Axis surveillance cabinet it becomes weatherproof and vandal resistant.

With AXIS TU8011 you can connect four 15 W Axis devices, or one 30 W device combined with two 15 W devices, reducing costs and installation time, as well as minimizing port usage in the switch.
