The TP-DCDC Gigabit Series of DC to DC converters offered by Tycon Power Systems are a low cost and high efficiency solution for those requiring IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at Power Over Ethernet from a 12VDC or 24VDC or
48VDC voltage source like a battery system or vehicle. They have an integrated POE injector to apply the 802.3af or 802.3at output to the CAT5 Ethernet cable. The output voltage is regulated 48VDC-56VDC. They have two isolated inputs for connecting 2 power sources, like a primary and backup power source. A metal enclosure model is available for industrial applications.

They accept gigabit data-in to a shielded RJ45 Jack and provide gigabit data-out and POE power on the shielded RJ45 output jack. They work by supplying power on the unused Ethernet pins 4,5(V+) and 7,8(V-). They have various protections for surge, short circuit and overload. The units have power outputs up to 35W.

If the remote device does not support 802.3af or 802.3at power over Ethernet, a TP-POE-1224 802.3xx converter is available to change the POE output to passive POE with 12V or 24VDC POE output.

The TP-POE-HP-56G Power Over Ethernet Power Sources offered by Tycon Power Systems are quality Gigabit midspan power sources for years of reliable operation even in the toughest conditions. They accept data-in to a shielded RJ45 Jack and provide surge protected data-out and power on the shielded RJ45 output jack. They work by supplying power to the remote device on all 8 Ethernet wires. The Ethernet spec supports distances up to 100m (328 feet).

The units are autoranging so that they accept AC inputs from 90VAC to 264VAC (50/60 Hz) and they supply regulated 56VDC at the output. They have various protections for surge, short circuit, overload and overvoltage. They have total power output up to 100W.

The TP-DCDC-2456GD-VHP is a special very high power DC to DC converter / POE inserter designed and qualified for use with Axis Q6035-E outdoor PTZ security cameras. The DCDC converter supplies 35W per POE channel. One POE channel is using pins 4,5,7,8 and the other POE channel utilizes pins 1,2,3,6. By splitting the power onto separate POE channels, the device can achieve 70W total supplied power to the end device. The TP-DCDC-2456GD-VHP has separate LED indicators for indicating which 802.3at channel is being used by the client. The RIGHT LED indicates POE Channel 1 and the LEFT LED indicates POE Channel 2

The TP-DCDC-2456GD-VHP has been qualified by Axis to be used with their Q6035-e series of PTZ cameras. The unit can be used with any 802.3at device as it will supply 35W to any 802.3at POE channel detected. If two channels are detected on the client then 70W power will be supplied.

The TP-DCDC-HP Series of DC to DC converters offered by Tycon Power Systems are a low cost and high reliability solution for those requiring 56VDC Power Over Ethernet voltage from a 24V or 48V battery system. They have an integrated POE injector to apply the 24VDC or 56VDC to the CAT5 Ethernet cable. Passive POE and 802.3at models are available. They have two isolated inputs for connecting 2 power sources, like a primary and backup power source.
They accept data-in to a shielded RJ45 Jack and provide data-out and POE power on the shielded RJ45 output jack. They work by supplying power on the unused Ethernet pins 4,5(V+) and 7,8(V-). They have various protections for surge, short circuit and overload. The units have a power output of up to 35W. The input and output are isolated so the units can accept minus voltage on input and can be wired for positive voltage on the output for those systems which are negative voltage based.
If the remote device does not support power over Ethernet, splitters (POE-SPLT) are available to split the data and DC voltage at the remote device. If the remote device requires reverse voltage the POE-XOVER cable can be used.

The TP-MS3xx series of rack mount mid span POE power sources are used for supplying POE and data to multiple devices from a central location such as an operations room. The POE devices feature a separate data-in port coupled with a data out/POE port. The POE function is fully IEEE802.3af compliant.

The included PC software allows for configuration of the individual ports and for displaying port status. Connecting to a PC is easy with the included RS232 cable. Ports can be configured for forced POE output (Passive POE) or IEE802.3af detection. POE DC Voltage (48V) is supplied on pins 4,5 (V+) and 7,8 (V-). Maximum power output per rack mount unit is 400W. The individual outputs are overload and short circuit protected.

POE-MSPLT-4812 is a 10/100Mb splitter to power a non PoE device using PoE. It has an 802.3af/at or 48VDC Passive PoE input. The 12VDC 12W output is via a standard 5.5mm/2.1mm barrel connector on a 6in cable. 10/100Mb Data output is thru a 6in CAT5 cable terminated with an RJ45 connector.

These PoE splitters are the perfect solution for running 12VDC devices like switches and sensors from a 802.3af or 802.3at or 48VDC Passive PoE source. Wide -25 to +50C temperature range enables outdoor applications when mounted in weatherproof enclosures.

Inputs and outputs are isolated. They have protections for short circuit and over-current.

Description

The TP-POE-1824 is a unique Power Over Ethernet adapter which converts an 802.3af/at 48VDC POE input into a 18V or 24VDC regulated passive POE output. The POE output voltage is external jumper selectable and capable of up to 25W power output. The POE input is IEEE 802.3af/at compatible so the TP-POE-1824 will work with standard 802.3af/at compliant POE switches or routers. The TP-POE-1824 enables the powering of passive POE devices from standard 802.3af/at POE switches, which eliminates the extra expenses usually required to power non compliant equipment.

There are two models available:
TP-POE-1824 which is 10/100MB compatible and has a 12W output.
TP-POE-1824G which is 10/100/1000MB compatible and has a 24W output.

POE Splitters are used to take the power supplied from a POE power supply and split off the data and DC power into separate connectors. These splitters are mainly used for powering legacy devices which are not POE enabled but instead get their power from a DC connector. The POE Y Splitters are useful when two devices need remote power, one device being POE enabled to accept power thru the RJ45 and the other device requiring DC power thru a DC connector. The overall length of these devices is 10 inches. The RJ45 Jack is a high quality CAT5 rated jack for high speed data.

The TP-POE-24IR-CI is a special 24V output POE Inserter with current indicator LED and a reverse voltage pinout. Power is supplied on pins 4,5(V-) and 7,8(V+).

If the remote device does not support power over Ethernet, splitters (TP-POE-SPLT) are available to split the data and DC voltage at the remote device.
