The IONPS6-A is an AC power supply module for the ION 6-slot chassis. The ION106-A chassis ships with one AC power supply, but the system can be made redundant with the use of the IONPS-A power supply module. The second power supply module works in a load-sharing mode, however a single power supply module can be used to power a fully loaded ION chassis. The IONPS6-A supports a universal power input voltage range of 100- 240 VAC.

Transition Networks' wide input external power supplies allow you to provide a wide range of input voltages to power your stand-alone converters and chassis. Input voltages of 24 - 60VDC and 24 - 42VRMS allow for installation of any of Transition's standalone media converters in most industrial, telecom and commercial applications, as well as HVAC and building controlled environments.

Multiple form factors allow flexibility to meet your application. The stand-alone form factor can be used with all Transition stand-alone media converters as well as the single-slot and dual-slot Point System Chassis. The piggy back form factor allows the power supply to attach directly to the converter and eliminate the power cable commonly found between the power supply and the converter. Once the piggy back supply is attached to the converter, the combined assembly is much easier to wall mount or attach to Din Rail environments than using a separate supply.

The IONDCR-R1 is a field installable dry contact relay module for the IONPS-D power supply. This module mounts in the lower right-hand corner of the IONPS-D face-plate, allowing the power supply to be tied into a separate alarm circuit. Contacts will be activated by various configurable conditions, enabling an external visual or audible alarm.

The ION Platform is an intelligent, high-density, multi-protocol system supporting a variety of network interface devices. Designed for both carrier class and enterprise network applications where multiple points of fiber integration and secure network management of the fiber interface devices is essential.

The ION 19-slot chassis can support up to two power supply modules which mount in the rear of the chassis. A single power supply can be used to power all the devices installed in the chassis; however the system can be made redundant with the use of a second power supply. In this configuration, the power supplies operate in an instant-fail-over mode and can be installed in either an AC or DC powered chassis.

The S3290-RPS adds isolation to the existing S3290-xx 2-pin terminal block input. The S3290-RPS incorporates a 14W DC-DC isolated power supply. Attaching the S3290-RPS to the existing S3290-xx products allows a redundant application where both the 12VDC barrel and the wide input 2-Pin terminal block connection can be used at the same time. The S3290-RPS also expands the terminal block input to a dual feed (two DC inputs) input.
