Protect mobile data with advanced security. Available in Standard and Managed models
All Models
Kingston's IronKey™ D300 USB Flash drive features an advanced level of security that builds on the features that made IronKey well-respected, to safeguard sensitive information. It's FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified, with 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption in XTS mode. An essential pillar to setting security standards, corporate policies and data loss protection (DLP) best practices. An important element in the quest for compliance with industry standards and global regulations such as the GDPR.For added peace of mind, the drive uses digitally signed firmware, making it immune to BadUSB, and enforces complex password protection with minimum characteristics to prevent unauthorised access.
Encryption and decryption is done on the drive, with no trace left on the host system, and the drive locks down and reformats after 10 invalid attempts to protect against brute force attacks.
Rugged and secure, IronKey D300 has a zinc casing and tamper-evident epoxy seal for physical security, so you can rest assured the drive will hold up, even in the most demanding situations.
Customisable, easy to use and waterproof up to 4 feet, conforming to IEC60529 IXP8. SuperSpeed (USB 3.0) technology means you don't have to compromise on speed over security.
Serialised (S) models
The IronKey D300S / D300SM brings two additional features on top of its industry-leading data protection.
Unique serial-number and barcode printed on drive
- Allows network administrators simply to read or scan the code instead of plugging in a drive to learn its unique serial number.
- Time saver both when the drive is deployed and when it is returned, as well as during any physical auditing of hardware done by a company. If a lost drive is found, the owner can quickly be tracked by the serial number.
Virtual keyboard
- Enables users to enter a password via mouse clicks, instead of using a physical keyboard; to reduce the risk of a keylogger intercepting the password being keyed in.
- Protection when using your encrypted drive on other computers that may be logging every keystroke made on a physical keyboard, including passwords.
Managed Model
IronKey D300M / D300SM is available in a Managed model that requires IronKey EMS, with the D300SM also supporting SafeConsole by DataLocker. This allows central management of drive access and usage across thousands of drives.
Either cloud-based or on-premises, it enforces drive-specific policies, such as password strength and retry limits, and lets administrators remotely disable lost or stolen drives, recover lost passwords and more.

KINGSTON IRONKEY D500S | Military-grade FIPS 140-3 Level 3 (Pending) security to protect mobile data
The Kingston IronKey™ D500S/SM USB Flash drive features flagship military-grade security that makes IronKey the most trusted brand to safeguard classified information. It is FIPS 140-3 Level 3 (Pending) certified with new enhancements from NIST requiring secure microprocessor upgrades for stronger security and attack protections for government and military uses. Data is encrypted and decrypted on the D500S without any trace left on the host system. Along with hardware-based XTS-AES 256-bit encryption, it features a rugged zinc casing which is waterproof, dustproof, crush-resistant and special epoxy-filled to protect internal components from penetration attacks.
IronKey D500S is an essential pillar to meeting Data Loss Protection (DLP) best practices with the toughest military-grade security for compliance with data encryption laws and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX and CCPA. D500S offers more features than any other drive in its class, making it a complete security solution for high-value data protection.
D500S self-tests upon bootup and detection of over-temperature or voltage conditions will lead to drive shutdown. For added peace of mind, D500S incorporates a digitally-signed firmware making it immune to BadUSB malware and Brute Force attacks. Brute Force password attack protection is always on to guard against password guessing and will ultimately crypto-erase the drive if invalid password retries are exceeded.
It offers a Multi-Password option to access data which supports up to three passwords: Admin, User, and One-Time Recovery. Admin can reset a User password and also enable a One-Time Recovery password to restore access if the User password is forgotten.
D500S supports traditional Complex password or Passphrase mode. Traditional Complex mode allows for password from 8-16 characters using 3 out of 4 character sets. Passphrases can be from 10-128 characters long. A sentence with space characters, list of words or even lyrics to simplify remembering meaningful yet very secure passwords. FBI recommends multi-word passphrases of 15 or more characters as stronger yet easier to remember than complex passwords.
D500S includes an industry-first Dual Hidden Partition option where Admin can create two custom-sized secure partitions for Admin and User, thereby allowing for a Hidden File Store that can be used to provision files to the User partition as needed. When using untrusted systems or sharing the drive, the Hidden File Stores keep their data secure and invisible unless properly accessed.
With a special key sequence, Admin can enter a Crypto-Erase password that will crypto-erase the drive, destroy the data forever and reset it to prevent unauthorized access.
To assist users with keyboard issues, all password entry screens include an Eye symbol that will display the password entered to reduce typos. A Virtual Keyboard is also available in English to shield password entry from keyloggers and screenloggers.
D500S also supports two levels of Read-Only (Write-Protect) Modes. Both Admin and User can set a session-based Read-Only mode to protect the drive from malware on untrusted systems. Admin can also set a Global Read-Only mode that sets the drive in Read-Only mode until reset.
It also delivers fast performance without compromising security. The drive includes a unique 8-digit serial number that is the same electronically as engraved on the casing, with a scannable bar code for drive deployment or auditing purposes.
D500S offers many customization options and is TAA/CMMC Compliant and Assembled in USA.

IRONKEY VAULT PRIVACY 50 SERIES | Hardware-encrypted for Data Security
Kingston IronKey Vault Privacy 50 series are premium USB drives that provide business-grade security with FIPS 197 certified AES 256-bit hardware-encryption in XTS mode, including safeguards against BadUSB with digitally-signed firmware and against Brute Force password attacks. VP50 series is also TAA compliant. Because it is encrypted storage under the user's physical control, VP50 series are superior to using the internet and Cloud services to safeguard data.
Vault Privacy 50 supports multi-password (Admin, User, and One-Time Recovery) option with Complex or Passphrase modes. This enhances the ability to recover access to the data if one of the passwords is forgotten. Traditional Complex mode allows for password from 6-16 characters using 3 out of 4 character sets. New passphrase mode allows for a numeric PIN, sentence, list of words, or even lyrics from 10 to 64 characters long. Admin can enable a User and a One-Time Recovery password, or reset the User password to restore data access. To aid in password entry, the "eye" symbol can be enabled to reveal the typed-in password, reducing typos leading to failed login attempts. Brute Force attack protection locks out User or One-Time Recovery passwords upon 10 invalid passwords entered in a row, and crypto-erases the drive if the Admin password is entered incorrectly 10 times in a row.
To protect against potential malware on untrusted systems, both Admin and User can set Read-Only mode to write-protect the drive; additionally, the built-in virtual keyboard shields passwords from keyloggers or screenloggers.
FIPS 197 certified and TAA compliant, organizations can customize and configure VP50 series drives with a Product ID (PID) for integration with standard Endpoint Management software to meet corporate IT and cybersecurity requirement through Kingston's Customization Program.
Small and Medium Businesses can use the Admin role to locally manage their drives, e.g. use Admin to configure or reset employee User or One-Time Recovery passwords, recover data access on locked drives, and comply with laws and regulations when forensics are required.
