CONNECTIVITY

Digi TX40 connects vehicle equipment such as dash cameras, body cameras, license-plate readers, eTicket systems, and mobile data computers over Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, USB 3.0, and serial interfaces. And the latest multi-constellation GNSS technology with Untethered Dead Reckoning (UDR) ensures that Dispatch knows the vehicle location, even under the most challenging conditions.

INTEROPERABILITY

Digi TX40 is ITxPT-compliant to ensure interoperability and seamless integration with other vehicle systems for sharing connectivity, information and services. For example, Digi TX40 can share consistent and accurate location and time information with other systems, reducing complexity, points of failure and cost.

SECURITY

Cybersecurity is critical in today's communication systems, and vehicle area networks are no different. Digi TX40 meets the U.S. government cybersecurity FIPS 140-2 standard and supports the Digi TrustFence® security framework to ensure it is secure on day one and stays secure throughout its life.

The available Digi SAFE™ solution, powered by Radio IP, enables IT staff from multiple agencies to securely share one system within a single operating platform. The highly resilient application and session persistence helps ensure constant connectivity, enabling greater support for field personnel with mobile encryption and reliable data access, and keeping officers and citizens safer, while minimizing response times.

High performance cellular router with dual redundant communications for complex transit and transportation systems

Ideal for challenging transportation and mobile environments, Digi TX64 is a dual cellular LTE-Advanced and LTE-Advanced Pro router with true enterprise class routing, security, firewall and integrated VPN. It offers a flexible interface design with an integrated Wi-Fi access point, USB, serial and 4-port Ethernet switch, as well as a variety of configuration options including GNSS and Bluetooth®.

Internet access for riders is managed securely and without impact to onboard bus systems. Triple carrier aggregation on each cellular interface can be combined to deliver up to 1.2 Gbps to passengers. Onboard systems retain priority and any remaining bandwidth is made available to Internet traffic.

A captive portal and splash page enable term acceptance, targeted messaging and agency branding. Standard HTTP/ DNS redirect can be used to block malware and unwanted content through popular third-party service providers or an agency server.

Reliable power circuitry supports 9-36 VDC input with ignition sense for direct integration into the vehicle's power source. Dual cellular and dual Wi-Fi modules provide true segmented traffic flow of private and public data for fare collection, CAD/AVL data, camera log backhaul and passenger Wi-Fi access.

Rugged and secure cellular router with dual redundant communications for mission critical industrial and transportation applications

The versatility and performance of the Digi® WR54 router make it ideal for mission critical applications requiring continuous connectivity, field longevity and edge computing. Routing and gateway functions are secured across traditional and wireless communications networks, protocols and interfaces - while bridging local private wired or wireless subnets across a public network - safeguarding message privacy and integrity.

Mission critical communication is achieved through concurrent and independent dual cellular interfaces. System operation is assured with an industrial grade electrical and mechanical design, while an embedded python environment enables quick adaptation to future evolving system requirements.

Each cellular transceiver employs Gobi LTE Advanced technology allowing use on major networks. Dedicated PCIe 2.0 internal data buses deliver 10 GT/s aggregate bandwidth ensuring low latency high bandwidth cellular communications. Four gigabit Ethernet ports connect other IP capable systems, each configurable as an isolated secure LAN or all four can function as a layer 2 switch.

Digi TrustFence®, a suite of hardware and firmware features, ensures the integrity of Digi WR54 security functions. A cryptographic co-processor protects particularly sensitive data such as stored passwords and encryption keys.
