5G Performance Embedded or Optimized

The E3000 Enterprise Branch Router offers 5G performance in two form factors. As a router with embedded 5G, the platform ships standard with the modem as well as a second slot for dual modem capabilities. As a 5G-optimized LTE router, it has the ability to act as a controller for a Cradlepoint 5G Wideband Adapter so that the modem can be placed for optimal signal coverage. The unique capability of Cradlepoint to operate the adapter in captive mode means that the two separate, Ethernet-connected appliances can be managed as a single entity. Customers can add 5G to a current installation by deploying the R2100 series as a Captive Modem with supported Cradlepoint controlling routers. This allows them both to be managed in NetCloud Manager as a single entity. The NetCloud management system treats the R2100 as an internal modem, eliminating the need for a separate license. Similarly, for select controlling routers, the R2100 Series can serve as an additional Wi-Fi source in captive mode to expand coverage for applications such as video offload. 5G Embedded High-Performance Solution

In addition, the R1900 is designed to accept the RX30 managed accessories which provide either four additional PoE ports or four additional GbE ports and a second modular modem. It also has the ability to act as a controller for a separate Cradlepoint 5G Wideband Adapter.
