The Cisco 1905 builds on the best-in-class offering of the Cisco 1841 Integrated Services Routers. All Cisco 1900 Series ISRs offer embedded hardware encryption acceleration, optional firewall, intrusion prevention, and advanced security services. In addition, the Cisco 1905 Integrated Services Router has a integrated serial interface module and a EWHIC slot which supports a choice of LAN, 3G or ISDN modules.

The Cisco uBR7225VXR Universal Broadband Router is a 2-rack-unit (RU) modular, inexpensive, mid-level entry CMTS suitable for cable operators that require a higher capacity platform than the Cisco uBR7100 Series, but not the larger form factor or capacity of the Cisco uBR7246VXR or Cisco uBR10012.
