  • Tripp Lite DVI / HDMI Over Cat5/6 Matrix Extender Kit 1080p @ 60Hz IR TAA - 2 Input Device - 2 Output Device - 656 ft Range - 4 x Network (RJ-45) - 2 x HDMI In - 4 x HDMI Out - Full HD - 1920 x 1080 - Twisted Pair - Category 6 - TAA Compliant

DVI/HDMI Matrix Kit for Digital Signage or Extending Video in Schools or Trade Show Booths
This matrix/extender kit comes with two Tripp Lite B160-001-HDSI transmitters and two B160-100-HDSI receivers. It extends and distributes DVI or HDMI audio/video, RS-232 serial and IR (infrared) remote signals from two source devices, such as Blu-ray players and media servers, to two HDMI displays via Cat5e/6 cabling. The maximum distance between a transmitter and receiver is 328 feet. However, by connecting a dedicated network switch (sold separately) in between, you can extend the audio/video as far as 656 feet (200 meters).

Scale Up to a Multi-In, Multi-Out Installation to Take You Beyond 656 Feet
You can create an installation featuring multiple sources and displays by connecting a dedicated managed Ethernet network switch with Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP), such as Tripp Lite's NSS-G16D2. By adding multiple managed switches, you can create a multi-in, multi-out installation with as many as 64 transmitters and 255 receivers. The IGMP-enabled switch will let you manage all connections for centralized control over which sources show on which displays. Note: Unmanaged switch installations are limited to two transmitter units. The number of receivers is limited to the number of ports remaining on the unmanaged switch. This transmitter/receiver extender kit is designed for use with a dedicated network switch. Connecting a switch used with other networking equipment will result in degraded or non-functional performance.

Transmits Crystal-Clear 1080p Video with Stereo Audio
The B160-202-HDSI supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 (1080p) at 60 Hz with 24-bit True Color in a managed switch installation. It extends IR signals that control a DVI or HDMI source to the remote displays, as well as RS-232 signals at serial baud rates up to 57600 bps. This allows you to operate the source devices' remote controls (play, rewind, pause, etc.), while standing near a receiver located up to 656 feet away. Adapter cables are included for converting DVI signals to HDMI and vice versa.

Plug-and-Play Operation for Quick Setup and Immediate Use
The included transmitter and receiver units work right out of the box with no software required. Mounting hardware is included for installing the units on walls, poles or 19-inch racks. Cat6 patch cable (such as Tripp Lite's N202-Series) can be used to connect the transmitters to a receiver or network switch. Connect an additional display to a transmitter's local output with HDMI cable (such as Tripp Lite's P568- or P569-Series) to monitor the image being transmitted to a remote display.

    TAA-Compliant for GSA Schedule Purchases
The B160-202-HDSI is compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA), which makes it eligible for GSA (General Services Administration) Schedule and other federal procurement contracts.

    Typical Applications

    • Keep your video sources in a secure location, with displays located elsewhere for viewing by the intended audience
    • Create an easily updatable video board communicating dynamic information, such as a restaurant menu or a theater schedule
    • Display arrivals, departures and up-to-the-minute information in an airport or train station
    • Duplicate audio/video content across multiple displays, show different content on multiple screens or create an impressive video wall made up of many monitors (multiple transmitters and receivers required)

    System Requirements

    • Source devices with DVI or HDMI output (media server, Blu-ray player)

  • Tripp Lite HDMI over IP Extender Transmitter - 4K, 4:4:4, PoE, 328 ft. (100 m) - 1 Input Device - 328 ft Range - 1 x Network (RJ-45) - 1 x USB - 1 x HDMI In - 4K UHD - 4096 x 2160 - Twisted Pair - Category 6 - Rack-mountable, Desktop - TAA Compliant

Features l An Effective Digital Signage Solution Designed for Easy Setup and Operation

This Tripp Lite HDMI over IP extender transmitter delivers visually lossless 4K signals with low latency up to 328 feet (100 meters) via a standard Gigabit Ethernet switch. Engineered to meet today's demands of large-scale, multi-display 4K signal transmission, the B162-001-POE is ideal for a wide range of indoor environments, such as trade shows, airports, university campuses, conference centers and shopping centers.

    Lightweight Compression with Ultra-Low Latency
This transmitter uses advanced video lossless compression technology to extend true 4K video at 60 Hz or true 4K video at 30 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. Choose from three different levels of video compression rate to match your application, including Smooth, Balance and High Quality. LEDs indicate connection and power status.

Supports Power over Ethernet to Save You Money and Give You More Installation Choices
When installed in combination with a PoE Ethernet switch in a multipoint-to-multipoint setup, this PoE extender transmitter can be powered through a shielded Cat6 cable, though an external power supply is included. Power over Ethernet gives you the flexibility to install the transmitter in an area away from AC outlets, such as ceilings or high up on a wall or shelf. Note: When power is available from both the Cat6 cable and the power supply, the power supply will receive priority.

    Limitless Scalability and Flexibility
Mix and match the latest 4K displays in simple point-to-point setups or more elaborate multipoint-to-multipoint setups via LAN (local area network) without distance limitations. In conjunction with Tripp Lite's B162-100-POE extender receivers, this transmitter offers multi-functionality in video wall and daisy-chain applications.

    Collaboration with Control System
You can manage and configure the extender via CLI telnet, TCP or RS-232 commands from a connected computer. Just one click via touch panel or keypad is needed to operate a display, source and related equipment.

    Spontaneous Scheduling Management
A user-friendly scheduling management function lets you pre-plan the display schedule, manage events in the calendar and set events to one-minute intervals. You can integrate all B162-Series devices in the application to arrange the profile by grouping individual receivers or video walls. Multiple profiles may be arranged to play in any order over a selected period.

    No Complicated IP Setup
Switch effortlessly among input source devices via buttons on the top panel. No extensive IT experience is required to operate.

    Web GUI-Based Management
Use a web browser or IP address to link directly to the transmitter's built-in utility program, the DVOE Manager. It lets you configure transmitter settings, monitor statuses and create display templates.

    Daisy-Chain Up to 30 Units
Connect multiple B162-100-POE receivers (sold separately) through a dedicated Ethernet network switch. Cabling and system deployment is easy with fewer cables needed. The daisy-chain function is especially ideal for large-scale deployment covering a wide area, such as hotels, airports, shopping malls and expo centers. Note: Only the first level supports PoE. All B162-Series units connected on the second level and above need an external power supply.

    Create a Video Wall
The B162-001-POE supports an 8 x 8 video wall (64 displays) in either horizontal or vertical orientation. Switching layout profiles, previewing the wall and dragging-and-dropping input sources is accomplished through the GUI.
