For demanding installations

This ruggedized industrial switch is developed for challenging environments when mounted inside a surveillance cabinet. Designed to withstand shock and vibrations, it can handle temperatures from -40 °C to 60 °C (-40 °F to 140 °F). This makes it ideal for demanding installations such as alongside highways and tunnels, and in industrial and outdoor environments like railways and harbors.

This rugged 8-port switch can deliver up to 90 W PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) per port, with a total power budget of 480 W. In addition, two SFP+ ports with 10 Gbit SFP+ uplink allows for long-distance installations.

AXIS D8208-R ensures easy configuration with Axis products. The unique web graphic user interface offers a graphic topology for easy overview of all devices in the system. Plus, it provides information, status, and notifications about connected devices. This allows you to manage all connected devices, reboot cameras in the system, monitor network traffic and cable diagnostics, and much more.

Overview

AXIS TU9004 Wireless Dongle allows the camera to communicate with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency. The wireless adapter supports 802.11ac/b/g/n. It is required to have a PoE injector to power the camera.

Ex Connection Rail 8-Port PoE++ is a high performance industrial PoE++ switch for hazardous areas. It is designed to provide power and network connectivity for up to eight explosion-protected PoE cameras. Furthermore, this managed switch is equipped with four additional RJ45 and four SFP data ports that allows for fiber connectivity over long distance installations. The enclose is equipped with a glass front for easy status verification without opening in a potentially combustible atmosphere. The Ex d-rated enclosure is made from seawater-resistant copper-free aluminum and is ready for wall mounting.
