The N1000 Series Encoders and Decoders are an affordable local AV-over-IP switching solution that packetizes video into a minimally compressed IP format that provides excellent video quality at low latencies. This compression is perfect for point-to-point video distribution, small 2x1 switching applications, and larger switching applications (for example, 32x32), all using off-the-shelf layer-3 network switches.

The NMX-ENC-N1115-WP provides the excellent encoding capabilities of the NMX-ENC-N1133 in a 2-gang wallplate format. This encoder can be easily mounted in a wall, lectern, or floor box using a standard 2-gang US back box, and connected to power and Ethernet using only a single category cable.

The NMX-ENC-N2315-WP provides the excellent encoding capabilities of the NMX-ENC-N2312 in a 2-gang wallplate format. This encoder fits conveniently into a 2-gang US back box for easy installation in a wall, floor or lectern. Connect to power and Ethernet using a single category cable.

Any source can be sent to one or more displays by routing through layer-2 / layer-3 switches utilizing standard Cat5e cable. The NMX-ENC-N2315 includes standard features like input scaling, bi-directional serial, IR, embedded 7.1 audio, and KVM-over-IP extension.

The N2300 Series provides a flexible, feature-rich, and simple-to-deploy Networked AV solution that can be used in 4K applications with resolutions up to 4096x2160, with support for HDCP 2.2. Utilizing JPEG2000 encoding, the N2315-WP delivers video with latency so low it supports extremely sensitive applications like live action.

The NMX-ATC-N4321 Audio Transceiver is an audio-over-IP solution that both sends and receives two-channel balanced or unbalanced audio over IP. Simply connect a balanced audio input into the IN port and it's converted to IP packets that are switchable and routable just like data or voice. The balanced audio output receives an audio-over-IP stream and decodes to analog while preserving audio fidelity. Perfect for point-to-point or point-to-multi-point audio delivery, the NMX-ATC-N4321 provides audio matrix switching and distribution using the same control options as SVSI's Networked AV video switching and distribution solution.

With two auto-sensing gigabit Ethernet ports, units can be stacked to deliver low-latency multi-channel audio over a house network or a physically separate network. One Ethernet port is POE for use with a POE switch, eliminating the need for an external power supply. An audio matrix with any number of inputs and outputs can be constructed with the NMX-ATC-N4321. Since control is the same as for SVSI's video over IP matrix, video and audio matrices can be combined and routed using the same controller for the ultimate in digital media distribution.

The N7142 is the first presentation switcher to incorporate low-latency Networked AV video distribution. It has six local inputs, two outputs, and two available slots for any of our new and existing networked AV cards to support the best codec for the application.

The four 4K60 HDMI inputs and two VGA inputs, can be independently switched between two HDMI outputs (one scaled, one unscaled). Each of the two outputs has a mirrored HDMI port so that the output can be sent to an encoder card, a second display, or other video distribution equipment.

The N7142 also has a 60W stereo amplifier capable of operating in 4Ω/8Ω, 70V, or 100V modes. In addition to audio from the HDMI inputs, the N7142 has six independent balanced stereo inputs and two independent microphone inputs with phantom power for simple microphone overlay.

Two models of the N7142 will be offered. The NMX-PRS-N7142 is the base presentation switcher, with two available Networked AV slots that can be populated with encoder and decoder cards as required by the application. The NMX-PRS-N7142-23 is an identical presentation switcher, prepopulated with one N2312 encoder card and one N2322 decoder card, making it perfect for cost-sensitive 4K video distribution applications.

COMMON APPLICATIONS

While the N7142 is priced right for any design requiring the need of a presentation switcher, the two available Networked AV card slots make it the perfect presentation switcher for active learning environments, or campuses where overflow support is required.

The N7142 Presentation Switcher features an intuitive web interface that makes it easy to configure, control and use. For basic input switching or volume adjustment, educators and presenters can use the straightforward front-panel controls. The N7142 is also AMX NetLinx Native for use in AMX NetLinx control systems. And, with a built-in 6-port managed switch the switcher and the Networked AV cards can be connected to the LAN with only a single network drop.
