Ergonomic Features

• Concave keywells are scooped into a bowl shape to reduce hand and finger extension and relax muscles.
• Separating the keywells positions the arms at shoulder-width to keep wrists straight and perpendicular to the home row to reduce abduction and ulnar deviation.
• The keys are arranged in vertical columns (rather than staggered) to better reflect the natural motion of your fingers.
• The two keywells are "tented" to moderately raising the thumb side of the hand. Tenting puts you in a more neutral, "handshake" posture and reduces the stresses caused by forearm pronation. Choose from one of three heights depending on your preferences.
• The integrated palm supports reduce stressful bending of the wrists and provide a convenient place to rest your hands when you are not actively typing. Add the new premium pads for even more support (AC360PP Sold Separately).
• The thumb clusters include frequently-used keys such as Enter, Space, Backspace, and Delete to redistribute the workload away from your relatively weaker and overused little fingers to stronger thumbs.
• The Advantage360 may look big, but it actually has a smaller footprint than most keyboards because we eliminated the numeric 10-key so you can place the mouse closer to your body, reducing painful "over-reach".
• Functions keys are located in the number row and accessed via the Fn Key for reduced reach and enhanced portability.

Mechanical Key Switches- Brown Tactile or Pink Linear Quiet

• Kailh Box Pink stem linear, quiet, low-force key switches. The Kailh "Quiet" Pink incorporates sound dampening components to make them quieter than conventional mechanical switches, making it an ideal choice in open work environments where ambient noise is a concern.

The Freestyle2 is an award-winning split keyboard designed to address the ergonomic risk factors related to typing by adjusting to your body. The European models feature a familiar Windows "ISO" layout with country-specific key legends.

Sleek, low-profile design
Most keyboards including ergonomic models have a 10 degree positive slope from front to back. These designs tend to bend your wrists. The Freestyle2 has a zero degree slope which minimizes the height, effectively creating negative slope and reducing wrist extension. The slim design provides a 2-in-1 office and travel keyboard.

Accommodates a wide range of individuals
From small to tall and body types in between, the Freestyle2 allows for maximum flexibility catering to each individual's unique needs. Out of the box both modules are connected together by a flexible pivot tether allowing an infinite range of splay. Disconnecting the pivot tether allows up to 9 or 20 inches of complete separation of both left and right keying modules. Perfect for individual needs ranging from a narrow footprint to complete separation. This design greatly reduces and or/eliminates ulnar deviation.

Low-force, tactile key switches
The Freestyle2 utilizes a quiet, low-force, tactile membrane key switch. The typical average maximum key force of a switch is 45 grams. This is at least 25% less than most traditional and many ergonomic keyboards such as the Microsoft 4000 with maximum key forces of over 60 grams.

Driverless hot keys
Driverless hot keys for commonly used mouse actions. (Internet Page Forward and Back, Undo, Web Home, Cut, Copy and Paste). A vertical rib is located on the inside row of hot keys to provide tactile notification to the user

The Advantage360 Professional features either low-force tactile "brown" or linear quiet "pink" mechanical key switches and shine-through ABS plastic keycaps to support the optional white backlighting.

The Pro uses open source ZMK firmware so power users can customize their keyboard layout, add additional layers, and customize various settings and share them with the Kinesis community via the 3rd party GitHub platform.
