This advanced switch combines the flexibility of media conversion with the performance of a robust nonblocking switch architecture. Combining reliability and function in a space-saving design, the SD7FX1SC seamlessly integrates with existing networks via auto-sensing 10Mbps and 100Mbps connections. It is compact and especially practical for school use - its fiber port lets you run a single cable from the wiring closet and set up an instant high-performance network right in the classroom.

Designed for use with Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices, the SG4P1 switch provides up to 15.4W of power to 802.3af PoE compatible devices connected to the switch's PoE ports. The Switch allows these devices to draw power from the switch and remove the need for a power adapter. Some devices that may have support for 802.3af are Wireless Access Points, IP Phones and IP Cameras. The Ethernet ports automatically negotiate between 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX network speeds, as well as between full and half duplex modes, so any port can connect to a Fast Ethernet or Ethernet network. The ports also support Auto MDIX, allowing the automatic detection of a straight through or cross-over cable, this feature reduces support problems commonly caused by incorrect cable usage.

The SPPM-10GSR is a high performance 850nm multimode fiber SFP+/mini-GBIC tranceiver that features a full duplex LC connector, 10Gbps data rate over a 300m transmission range, and is a hot pluggable unit. It also features a metal enclosure for lower EMI, interface compliant to SFF-8431, a 2-wire interface for management specifications compliant with SFF 8472 and has a single 3.3 V power supply.

The SPPS-10GLR10 is a high performance 1310nm single-mode fiber SFP+/mini-GBIC tranceiver that features a full duplex LC connector, 10Gbps data rate over a 10km transmission range, and is a hot pluggable unit. It also features a metal enclosure for lower EMI, interface compliant to SFF-8431, a 2-wire interface for management specifications compliant with SFF 8472 and has a single 3.3 V power supply.
