The AMX Connectivity and Transport (CT) Series is a family of 4K switching and distribution kits that combine switching, scaling and distance transport into a single kit that includes both a transmitter and receiver. The solutions deliver added value and flexibility to conferencing and presentation solutions by providing a single, simple to implement solution that offers switching and connectivity where you need it along with unified control of both the transmitter and receiver - all over a single category cable. Solutions available include a Presentation kit, targeting simple presentation environments, and a Conferencing kit, targeting web conferencing applications.

The CT Conferencing kit combines multi - format 4K60 video switching, scaling, and distance transport with USB 2.0 peripheral switching. This allows dynamic sharing of room USB peripherals between visiting laptops, etc., and permanently installed devices such as an Acendo Core or room PC. This ensures excellent sound and visuals for guests whether they are using installed equipment or bringing their own devices - at a cost effective price.

The AMX SCL-1 4K60 Scaler is a small-format scaler that adjusts the output to match the optimal resolution of the display. The scaler includes a single input and a single output, with a size small enough to be mounted behind a display. It was designed to be used in combination with products such as the local HDMI outputs on the AMX Precis 8x8 that do not have built-in scaling. This offers a more flexible, lower cost solution for installations where scaling is needed only on certain outputs.

The scaler is compatible with 4K60 4:4:4 resolutions and HDCP 2.2, offering support for the latest source devices and displays. Because the scaler includes automatic scaling, the device can be configured to automatically scale to the optimal resolution of the display based on its EDID. It can be set to always scale to a particular resolution.

The AMX DCE-1 In-Line Controller combines CEC control, EDID emulation and audio extraction in a single, cost-effective device. The DCE-1 provides EDID emulation for resolutions up to 4K60 4:4:4, and includes HDCP 2.2 support, offering compatibility with the latest displays and source devices. The integrator can either copy the EDID from the output or select from one of 15 preprogrammed EDIDs.

The controller provides a fixed EDID to the source device to ensure it reliably outputs video in the correct resolution for the display. The DCE-1 also offers audio de-embed capabilities, with digital SPDIF and analog output options. To simplify display control, the DCE-1 also offers the ability to turn the display on and off using CEC or RS232 strings whenever a source device is connected or disconnected.

The AMX PR01-RX HDBaseT Receiver and Scaler provides a cost-effective end-point for the AMX Precis 8x8 HDMI Matrix Switcher. The affordable PR01-RX receiver provides built-in scaling, network passthrough, and network configuration, offering a cost-effective solution for distributing video outputs from the Precis 8x8 over longer distances without degrading video quality. The addition of built-in scaling on the PR01-RX provides clean transitions when switching between sources and an output that matches the display resolution regardless of the source.

COMMON APPLICATIONS

The PR01-RX is designed for use with the PR01-0808 Precis 8x8 4K60 HDMI Matrix Switcher to receive signals from the Precis mirrored HDBaseT distance transport outputs.

AMX Incite Digital Video Presentation Systems are the next generation of presentation switchers that combine AMX control and signal distribution with HARMAN audio. Video presentation features include advanced windowing with scaling allowing for various video configurations (side-by-side, top-bottom, and picture-in-picture), and live production style video features such as transition effects. Support and scaling for 4K/60 4:4:4 and HDCP 2.2, as well as lower resolutions, ensures the Incite family provides flexibility for visiting devices and compatibility from source to display weather using legacy or new devices. Audio features include DSP with advanced capabilities like independent 10-band parametric EQ, independent input gain adjustments, and variable compression, Advanced Feedback Suppression™ and two of the three models also include DriveCore amplification technology.

Each has 8 inputs (4 HDMI, 2 DXLite, and 2 RGBHV/VGA), and a scaled video feed presented simultaneously to 2 local HDMI outputs and 1 DXLite output. Thus, making it an 8x1:3 presentation switcher.

Distance transport with DXLite on the inputs and output provides 4K/60 4:4:4 support with visually lossless compression for runs up to 70 meters. Use with the DXLink Wallplate Transmitter to feed inputs into Incite, and the new DXLite Receiver after the output before the output device (examples include display, projector, and lecture output device).

Embedded audio processing includes switching from any of the 6 embedded digital audio inputs, 6 analog stereo audio inputs or 2 microphone inputs which can be mixed across 2 defined audio output groups. Audio outputs can be assigned to either output group adding to configuration flexibility. Audio outputs are provided on 2 independently configurable balanced pre-amp audio outputs, and as embedded audio paths on each of the 3 mirrored digital video outputs.

There are numerous interface options including integrated web GUI, front control panel, On Screen Menu Setup, and is a Native NetLinx device which can be controlled via native NetLinx ICSP commands. Full feedback and notifications are provided for NetLinx integration.
