PERSONAL SCANNER DILEMMA

Customers looking for personal scanners face serious price-performance tradeoffs. Lowest-price scanners are slow, often unreliable with large jobs and can deliver disappointing scan quality. "Easy" software limits flexibility, scan precise settings and may cause you to need additional software. Higher speed scanners often cost as much as a personal all-in-one printer, take more precious desk space, and carry higher cost of ownership. And they can't be shared with others on a network. The new Xerox® D35 Scanner brings together the highest scan speeds in its category, reliable paper handling, and several software applications so you can choose the right tool for the job. Featuring scan speeds up to 45 pages per minute (90 images per minute in duplex mode), long jobs are handled quickly, saving time - especially important when customers or colleagues are waiting for the scan. With a proven hardware design platform, it supports a beyond-personal daily duty cycle. Yet its price is at the very low end of the competition. It's the fastest personal scanner in its category and carries a small footprint. And though it's a USB-to-PC scanner, it can be shared with users across local and cloud networks. No more tradeoffs.

BUILT TO LAST

The D35 Scanner uses a straight paper path, with a 50-sheet automatic document feeder. Ultrasonic double-sheet detection is built in. It scans paper documents, photos, thick stock and hard cards. Long document mode handles continuous feed documents up to 236" long - ideal for medical equipment and energy instrument readouts. The daily duty cycle of 8,000 pages per day - at least double any competitive personal scanner - demonstrates our confidence in this proven technology. In short, this compact solution is one you can count on.

POWERFUL SOFTWARE

Visioneer VAST Network© software brings a powerful new feature, allowing the D35 Scanner to be shared (via the host PC) with others on local or cloud networks, adding even more economic value to our customers. Visioneer's Intelligent PC Software Platform is available to each user. Visioneer OneTouch® offers custom scan workflows at the touch of a button. Visioneer Capture SE handles custom scan batches, scan data extraction, barcode support and scan-to-cloud features. Full- version ABBYY® FineReader Standard (Windows and macOS) software handles OCR and PDF file editing. Visioneer Organizer AI helps you organize your PC scan (and other) files, adding tags, file search and machine-learning document classification of similar documents like invoices and standard forms. Visioneer Scan Utility, ICA and TWAIN drivers are included for macOS. Customers can choose one or all of these applications based upon their needs.

Total Flexibility
When you need a flexible scanner configuration,
Xerox® delivers. The DocuMate® 4700 is
an excellent flatbed scanner when directly
connected to your PC. It can be used as
a standalone flatbed scanner, and act as
a flatbed option for any Xerox DocuMate
DriverPLUS ADF scanner. Its USB hub changes
the scanner to a combined configuration of
distinct ADF and flatbed scanners that are
addressable as one single scanner. So, if your
needs suddenly change from the ADF-only
scanner you have today, you can add a flatbed
scanner and improve the investment you've
already made in an ADF scanner. The ability
to configure your DocuMate 4700 with an ADF
scanner in series brings total flexibility to the
entire DocuMate scanner product line.
