The Sender unit features a video output for local monitoring of the source. USB, RS-232 2-way IR, and audio can be routed independently between any Sender and Receiver unit, allowing end-users to control any of the sources and the displays within their network. The Receiver features a built-in scaler to help optimize the image for a variety of displays and different viewing environments. It also includes a powerful video wall controller that accommodates any screen configuration up to 16x16 and provides great flexibility in sizing and manipulating live and signage content in demanding installations. When used in HDMI mode, digital and analog audio break-out de-embeds audio from the video and sends it to a separate audio system, enhancing the impact of presentations. The Receiver's integrated USB hub with two USB 2.0 and two USB 1.1 ports accommodates touch panels, keyboard and mouse, and a variety of supported devices. This feature, along with analog audio inputs and outputs, make these products perfect to use in collaborative and interactive installations. To ensure maximum versatility and compatibility, the audio outputs on the Receiver units are compatible with both headphones and line level devices such as powered speakers.

Extend and Distribute DVI, USB, RS-232, IR, and 2-way audio over a Local Area Network using any combination of HDMI, DVI, and VGA Senders and Receivers

The DVI KVM over IP extends DVI, USB, 2-way analog audio, RS-232, and IR, over a Gigabit Local Area Network. Resolutions up to 1080p Full HD and 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) are supported. The Gefen Video over IP products can be used as a "Virtual Matrix". When using HDCP-encrypted content, only HDMI Senders and Receiver units can accept and display the content. HDMI digital audio is also supported when using HDMI sources and displays with HDMI-to-DVI adapters. The Sender and Receiver units can be automatically or manually configured to unique IP addresses to allow the connection of multiple Senders and Receivers to the same network. Multiple Receiver units can simultaneously connect to any Sender unit within the network to create a virtual crosspoint matrix of 256 Senders and up to a theoretical limit of just over 65,000 units total, depending on the network bandwidth and number of ports on the network switch. Each Receiver unit has a built-in Ethernet switch and two additional RJ-45 Ethernet ports to allow for the connection of computers and other IP-enabled devices. USB 2.0 data rates up to 480 Mbps are supported in addition to backward-compatibility with USB 1.1. Each Receiver unit provides two USB ports with up to 500mA current draw per connector, providing access to keyboard, mouse, and other compatible devices. Bi-directional analog audio capability allows audio to be transported between the Sender and the Receiver units. The built-in mic pre-amp on the Receiver unit ensures compatibility with a variety of microphones. IR commands from the Receiver side can be extended to sources connected to any of the Senders units. RS-232 serial control can also be extended between each Sender and Receiver unit. The built-in Web server interface makes set-up and configuration simple and intuitive. The DVI KVM over IP is perfect for large scale remote workstation access and digital signage applications.

The Digital and Analog Audio over IP Sender (EXT-ADA-LAN-TX) and Receiver (EXT-ADA-LAN-RX) are new additions to Gefen's family of AV over IP products, offering a much-needed audio-only option for background music, public announcements, and other applications where stand-alone audio needs to be distributed through the AV system. Audio input and output options include L/R Analog, Coaxial Digital, and Optical Digital. When using the digital inputs and outputs, 2-channel PCM and up to 5.1 channels of Bitstream can be distributed through the system. In addition to audio, RS-232 and 2-way IR can also be independently routed and distributed for source and amplifier control. Switch video and audio from an HDMI and a VGA source, scale the picture, and output it to an SDI device

The Gefen EXT-HDVGA-3G-SC scales and converts video from an HDMI or a VGA source to SDI formats, including 3G-SDI and single link HD-SDI. It can also embed HDMI audio or analog L/R audio into the SDI stream. Video can be scaled up to 1080p Full HD. An intuitive and comprehensive on-screen display (OSD) menu allows easy set-up and control. This product can be configured and updated using the Gefen Syner-G™ software suite. The Gefen Syner-G™ is a powerful set of software tools specifically designed to help discover, configure/ customize, manage, monitor, and upgrade Gefen products. How It Works

Use the included HDMI and VGA cables to connect an HDMI source to the HDMI input and/or a VGA source to the VGA input. If you will be embedding analog L/R audio into the SDI stream, connect the included 3.5mm mini-stereo cable from the source to the L/R audio input. Connect an SDI display or other downstream equipment to the BNC video connector output. Connect the included 12V DC power supply to the unit and to an available electrical outlet. The power LED will glow in blue once the power supply is plugged in. Once the unit is powered-on, the HDMI and VGA buttons can be used to select the desired input. Once an input is selected, the corresponding LED will glow in green. To bring up the On-Screen Display (OSD), press the Menu button. Use the Up and Dn (down) buttons to navigate through the various functions of the OSD.

The Gefen EXT-DP-CP-2FO extends DisplayPort up to 1000 feet (300 meters) using two strands of 50/125µm multi-mode (OM2/OM3) LC-terminated fiber optic cable.
