The SAROS SMT6T-AW-W-T-EACH is a surface-mountable, all-weather, 2-way speaker featuring a 6 in. (165 mm) IMPP woofer for deep, defined low end. A 1 in. (25 mm) ceramic-coated aluminum tweeter provides crisp highs with consistent coverage across a wide listening area. A built-in 60 Watt multi-tap transformer allows for use with 70 or 100 Volt distributed speaker systems. The power handling is an impressive 110 W (program) with a wide frequency response from 65 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB).

The SAROS SMT6T-AW-W-T-EACH features a clean and contoured enclosure with weatherized construction. It can be mounted to most solid flat surfaces using the included brackets and painted to blend with the surrounding architecture. The speaker comes with a rectangular grille, and a preconstruction mounting kit (SPKA-PMK-SMT6T-W-T) is available as an accessory. The preconstruction mounting kit can be purchased prior to receiving the speaker to prepare an installation for speaker and cabling positioning. A safety tether kit (SPKA-ST-15) can also be purchased separately and installed to make the speaker compliant with the UL 2239 standard.

An integral metal back can is employed to meet the requirements of UL® 2043 for installation in a plenum space. The wiring connection is accessible behind a rear cover panel by removing a single screw. Setting the 70/100V transformer tap is performed via a screwdriver-adjustable control located on the front baffle, behind the grille.

Weatherized construction allows for use in outdoor entertainment venues, patios, and swimming pools. To facilitate installation, a 10 ft (3 m) length of wire rope with attached snap hook is supplied. Securing the wire rope to the truss and adjusting it to the desired length is accomplished quickly and easily using the provided Gripple® self-locking wire rope grip.

To achieve its sleek, sculpted appearance, the Saros PD6T employs a durable ABS plastic housing and "zero-bezel" frameless grille. Composed of steel, the grille is held in place by powerful magnets, eliminating any visible screws or other hardware. A safety tether is included to prevent the grille from ever presenting a falling hazard. Setting the 70/100V transformer tap is performed via a screwdriver-adjustable control located on the speaker baffle behind the grille.

Wiring connections are provided on the top of the speaker adjacent to the suspension rigging point. Connecting the wiring is facilitated using a detachable screw terminal block with provisions for easy parallel wiring in a multi-speaker application. A weather boot is included to protect the wiring connections from moisture.

The PD6T is topped off with a top cover, which conceals the wiring connections and suspension hardware for a very clean, contoured appearance. Saros PD6T speakers are available in white or black, and can be painted to blend with the surrounding architecture. They are priced and sold individually.

Unitized construction of the speaker enclosure simplifies specification and installation for use in new and existing ceilings. Mounting the speaker is facilitated using toggle clamps integrated into the enclosure. A tile bridge is included to provide proper support when installed in a typical drop-tile ceiling. The tile bridge is adjustable to enable off-center speaker positioning, and can fit through the speaker cutout in blind-mount situations. A rigging point is also provided on the top of the speaker enclosure for securing to the building structure using the optional safety tether kit (SPKA-ST-15).

The Crestron® UC Video Conference Smart Soundbar (UC-SB1) is a front of room device that eliminates the need to install additional microphones or speakers in a conference space. Mounted on the wall or placed on a credenza beneath the room display(s), the smart soundbar looks great and sounds even better in a small to medium sized meeting space.

USB Speakerphone
The UC-SB1 is a high performance AEC enabled speakerphone. A USB camera can also be connected for a full video conferencing solution. The soundbar integrates with a computer running UC conferencing or web collaboration software, and also supports presentation of computer based AV content. A single USB 3.0 (2.0 compatible) connection provides a plug and play interface to a computer.

USB Camera Input
The UC-SB1 includes a USB 3.0 camera port to accommodate an external USB camera. Connect the camera to the soundbar to facilitate full audio and video connectivity to a computer through a single USB interface.

Enhanced Functionality
The UC-SB1 integrates seamlessly with a wide variety of computer based UC platforms. Plug and play USB connectivity enables control of the soundbar through the computer without requiring extra software, remotes, or a control system. The computer detects the soundbar connection automatically, and the soundbar responds when a conference call is started, speaker volume is adjusted, or the speaker or mic is muted. On the front of the soundbar, operational status is displayed by a multicolor LED status bar that illuminates as the volume is increased, and changes colors to indicate connection and mute status.
