Extra-Deep Server Cabinet Accommodates 45U of Standard-Width Rack Equipment
Designed for network wiring closets, retail locations, classrooms, back offices and other areas with essential rack-mount IT equipment, this SmartRack® 45U rack enclosure is 48 inches (1219 millimeters) deep. This allows high-density equipment installations, extra space for cable management, and room for removing hot-swap power supplies from the rear of mounted devices. Constructed from heavy-duty steel with a durable black powder-coated finish, the SR45UBDP48 has a maximum stationary load capacity of 3000 pounds (1361 kilograms) and a maximum rolling load capacity of 2250 pounds (1021 kilograms).

Keeps Important Equipment Secure and Easy to Access
The reversible front door, split rear doors and half-size side panels lock securely to help prevent damage, tampering or theft. The doors, side panels and top panel are designed for quick release, making it easy to access connected equipment and cabling with little effort. Convenient top access ports and an open bottom allow easy cable routing through the cabinet. The vented doors allow generous airflow from front to rear to keep your equipment cool and functioning at its peak.

Easy Enclosure Deployment and Equipment Installation
This 45U server rack comes fully assembled for quick and easy deployment with pre-installed casters that let you maneuver it over a level, smooth, stable surface and through a standard seven-foot doorway into position, where it can be stabilized by adjusting the levelers. Four mounting rails adjust in quarter-inch increments from four to 42 inches. Two rails also support toolless 0U mounting for quick installation of up to four compatible PDUs and vertical cable managers to help cut down on clutter.

Designed for Baying Multiple Enclosures in a Row
Built-in baying brackets and removable side panels allow the combination of two or more rack cabinets in a row for cost-effective, orderly and efficient expansion. Center-to-center width can be set at 24 inches (600 millimeters) to match standard data-center floor tiles.

Meets Payment Card Industry Standards
The SR45UBDP48 provides physical equipment and media security required for PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliance. This is essential for companies that process, store and/or transmit credit card information.

The SR45UBDPWD is a DEEP and WIDE version of our standard 45U SmartRack. This enclosure is 1295mm deep (51") compared to the standard 1070mm deep (42"). This extra depth allows for high density equipment installations. It allows extra space for moving the cable management back as well as providing space for mounted equipment that has hot-swap, removable power supplies out the back of the enclosure. It is also 750mm wide (29.5") compared to the standard 600mm wide (23.6"). This extra width allows for high density equipment installations. It allows cable management and PDU mounting off to the sides of the rack in order to keep these items out of the airflow for proper cooling.

The SR45UBDPWD features a massive front-to rear-ventilation capacity that meets or exceeds server manufacturer requirements. Its integrated baying tabs make it easy to combine multiple enclosures in rows for data center applications. This enclosure is also compatible with hot-aisle/cold-aisle configurations.

With its locking, reversible, removable front and rear doors, and locking, removable side panels, the SR45UBDPWD provides ultimate equipment safety. The side panels are half size for ease of removal and reinstallation. The split rear door design allows the enclosure to be placed closer to a wall. The SR45UBDPWD meets all requirements toward PCI DSS compliance.

The top panel of the SR45UBDPWD is vented to help remove warm air from the enclosure and draw in cool air by convection. The top panel includes ports for cable routing, and can be quickly removed without tools. To facilitate cable access, the SR45UBDPWD is open-bottom.

All components of the SR45UBDPWD are grounded to the enclosure frame. Front and rear threaded grounding points are provided for connection to the facility earth ground. The removable front and rear doors feature quick-release ground wires.
