The HDMI pass through wall plate allows for a clean, professional looking and seamless transition to in-wall HDMI cabling using a wall plate form factor, which offers a more secure installation option over traditional transition methods. The wall plate provides a secure mount within the wall and is not likely to be stolen or misplaced. Unlike traditional pass-through wall plates, this wall plate is constructed by using four-layer computer grade printed circuit boards (PCBs).

The PCB traces are engineered to maintain the critical impedance necessary to transfer digital audio/video signals. Made from 20 AWG steel, this strong wall plate fits standard electrical boxes, and is compatible with decorative trim plates.

This wall plate is designed with a variety of jacks and connectors will fill the wall plate openings to meet your specific requirements for voice, data, audio, video, fiber optic, etc. The inserts are a snap to install and remove, so that you can enjoy a highly adaptable system.

A space is even provided for identifying stations; simply write onto the white insert with a fine tip permanent marker. Compatible with NEMA standard openings and boxes, this wall plate will mount to any electrical or surface mount box, and work with any keystone jacks or keystone inserts.

Ideal for educational and institutional installations, this wall plate receives PC video, 3.5mm stereo audio from one cable. It is commonly used at the teacher's station with the display (projector) end of classroom setups with the corresponding flying lead (#40853, #42106, #42107 or #42108) used. In addition, the cut-out provides a space for additional components that fit a Decora style opening. Constructed from aluminum for durability, this wall plate has a locking connector that enables the integrator to save valuable space inside the surface mount or electrical box that typically is already packed with cables.

Please Note: Each complete RapidRun solution requires a break-away flying lead or wall plate to terminate each end of the runner cable. For each runner you will need (2) break-away flying leads, (2) wall plates, OR (1) break-away flying lead and (1) wall plate.
