The 2A-130G VGA EDID Emulator is designed for ATEN KVM extender or video extender installations that do not utilize a local monitor at the site where the computer/video source is located. The 2A-130G emulates and stores a default ATEN EDID (Extended Display Identification Information) setting in a non-volatile memory. This means the computer/video source can still "see" the display, even though it is not directly connected.

Another important difference between our cables and those of our competitors is that we use coaxial wires to carry the red, green and blue video signals. Our competitors just throw the signals and its ground on two separate wires. By using coaxial wires we reduce the possibilities of interference even farther. The cables we manufacture for our mouse and keyboard are also built to our high quality requirements and are in compliance with the UL 2464 standard.
