The Battery Grip BG-R20EP can hold up to two LP-E6P/LP-E6NH/LP-E6N/LP-E6 battery packs, allowing you to shoot for longer duration without worrying about running out of power too quickly. The optimised balance and improved position for the controllers/buttons enhance vertical operability.

Longer Battery Life

Make full use of the Battery Grip BG-R20EP to prolong high-speed burst shooting at maximum power. Plug it into USB Power Adapter PD-E2 or PD-E1 for in-camera USB recharging on the go (LP-E6 not supported).

Ethernet Port

Battery Grip BG-R20EP is the first EOS product to support 2.5G Base-T Ethernet, which provides faster communication than the previous 1000Base-T standard. Wired LAN allows for FTP transfer, remote shooting (EOS Utility), and other operations. IPv6 addresses are also supported. Furthermore, IEEE 802.1X is used for authenticated local area networking. 

Wired LAN connectivity is not available when used with EOS R5, EOS R6 Mark II, or EOS R6. 

Vertical Shoots

The Battery Grip BG-R20EP replicates the shutter button, multi-controller, and other dials and buttons for vertical shooting. This allows for a more ergonomic approach when holding the camera vertically.

Shoot seamlessly in both horizontal and vertical orientations without straining their arms, even during prolonged periods of shooting.

Allows for 2 LP batteries and provides controls for vertical shooting, including an improved multi-controller position.

The Canon ER-KE Eyecup is designed to prevent stray light from entering your viewfinder in bright environments and causing glare. This is particularly useful if the user is wearing glasses, as the large eyecup makes it more comfortable. It can also prevent dust and moisture build up on your viewfinder as well, improving visibility. The Canon ER-KE Eyecup is compatible with the EOS R5 Mark II.
