Data Express DX115 DC

The DX115 DC was specifically designed for our Digital Cinema customers. The DX115 DC boasts our unique "Auto Start" feature which allows the DX115 DC drive carriers to be automatically powered up seconds after the carrier has been installed, without having to push the on/off button. The DX115 DC also offers a new Host Activity L.E.D feature which allows the choice of having the disk drive or the PCI host adapter control the Host Activity L.E.D on the DX115 DC Frame.

With its rugged steel construction, the CRU® DX115 MoveDock is designed for quickly docking and accessing DX115 DC hard drive carriers. The MoveDock boasts our unique 30,000 insertion rating, which means it can withstand up to 30,000 insertion and ejection cycles-once every hour for over five years-without failure or signal degradation.

Designed specifically for the installation of one DX115 Carrier, the DX115 MoveDock is an important component in the distribution of digital cinema files.

Note that the new USB 3.0 (Type B) connector is physically larger than the USB 2.0 (Type B) connector. The original USB 2.0 cable (connects Type B to Type A) can be used with older USB 2.0 or newer USB 3.0 MoveDock Adapters at USB2.0 speeds. The new USB3.0 cable (Type B to Type A) can ONLY be used with newer USB3.0 MoveDock and will achieve USB3.0 speeds when the USB 3.0 MoveDock, the USB 3.0 cable, and a USB 3.0 host connection are all used.

USB 3.0 Cable + USB 3.0 MoveDock = ok

USB 3.0 Cable + USB 2.0 MoveDock = not ok, will not fit

USB 2.0 Cable + USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 MoveDock = ok

The MoveDock 3S is a USB 3.0 and eSATA adapter for our popular DX115 DC removable drive carriers. With the MoveDock, it's easy to connect a DX115 DC carrier - the standard digital cinema hard drive carrier - to any system over USB and eSATA.

Data Express DX115

The Data Express DX115 6G is a compact, rugged, drive carrier and receiving frame for internally mounting 2.5" or 3.5" form factor drives into any a 5.25" peripheral bay. The DX115 6G receiving frame offers 6 Gbps performance while still utilizing the same DX115 carrier as the previous 3 Gbps frame. This allows backwards compatibility with 3G HDD as well as the opportunity to take advantage of 6 Gbps speeds when used with a 6G drive, frame and host configuration. The DX115 removable enclosures are designed specifically to accommodate a variety of the latest PC chassis bay dimensions.

Government agencies, digital cinemas, and SMB organizations that need a reliable and versatile removable drive enclosure to store, transport, and protect their sensitive data rely on the Data Express® DX115 SAS/SATA 6G carrier and frame. This removable frame mounts into any 5.25-inch peripheral bay.

Soft start circuitry increases data integrity by eliminating in-rush current during spin-up.

The receiving frame offers 6 Gbps performance when used with a 6 Gbps drive and host configuration and it is backward compatible with 3 Gbps drives and hosts.
