Compatibility
The portable docking station UD-CUBE is compatible with USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 equipped Windows, Mac and Chromebook systems that support Alt Mode video and acts as a port replicator stations multiple devices. Please see the System Requirements below for more details about exceptions.
The UD-CUBE is not for charging your host system. Please see Power and Charging below for more details.
System Requirements
While most USB-C systems support at least a single display output over USB-C via Alt Mode (which converts through the HDMI port on the dock), not all USB-C ports are created equal. Please refer to your system manual to ensure that your USB-C port supports Alternate Mode (Alt Mode) video
Power and Charging
The docing station UD-CUBE does not provide Power Delivery over USB-C, i.e., it will not charge your host system. Your system may report that the system is charging or you may see a charging icon, but you must keep your original power adapter attached in order to charge your computer.

The Plugable USB-C laptop docking station dual monitor with 65W Power Delivery (UD-MSTH2) was built around an MST (Multi-Stream Transport) chipset to ensure peak performance under any workload. Dual 4K

Offering two ports each, HDMI and DisplayPort, all video ports are capable of up to 4K 60Hz. And with 60W charging. Laptop docking station dual monitor resolution is dependent on host. DP 1.4 host is required for Dual 4K 60Hz. DP1.2 hosts will see resolutions up to 4K 30Hz.

Compatibility

This Plugable docking station provides full functionality to Windows 11 and Windows 10, systems with Thunderbolt 3 or 4, USB4, and USB-C. The dock can also be used on Macs, however due to lack of MST functionality in macOS, the USB C dock only allows for one additional extended display. The second display will be mirrored. This product works with devices capable of running the latest version of ChromeOS and has been certified to meet Google's compatibility standards.
