AXIS T8504-R Industrial PoE Switch is a 4-port managed industrial PoE++ Gigabit switch. In addition, the switch is equipped with two RJ45 and two SFP data ports that allows for extra devices to be connected.

The ruggedized industrial switch is developed for challenging environments, when mounted inside a surveillance cabinet. It is designed to withstand shock, vibrations and temperatures from -40 °C to 75 °C (-40 °F to 167 °F), making it perfect for high demanding installations such as alongside highways and tunnels.

Easy to install and configure

AXIS T8504-R Industrial PoE Switch, is easy to install by using standard Axis tools as AXIS IP Utility and AXIS Device Manager. AXIS T8504-R also comes with an individual password, an easy to use setup wizard, and a comprehensive set of configuration tools such as an integrated DHCP server for automatic assignment of IP addresses. It also allows for even more advanced network configuration such as Rapid Ring Protection Protocol, VLAN, QoS, Security, and Spanning tree to further optimize the total solution.

Total overview with unique user interface

AXIS T8504-R uses the same intuitive administrator interface as AXIS T85 PoE Network Switch Series .The unique web graphic user interface offers a graphic topology for easy overview of all devices in the system. The graphic user interface provides information, status and notifications about connected devices. It allows for management of all connected devices, reboot of cameras in the system, monitoring of network traffic, cable diagnostics and much more.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) offers an easy, fast and cost-effective solution for powering network products. A midspan injects power and data to the network device with built-in PoE support. No need to replace existing Ethernet switches and cabling infrastructure. AXIS 30 W Outdoor Midspan is compatible with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at compliant Axis network devices. The midspan ensures safe and reliable operation in outdoor environments. Furthermore, it offers surge protection for both the AC and the PoE ports ensuring protection to the equipment from outdoor surges up to 6kV.

This midspan delivers a power output of 90 W. With portcast technology it enables both audio and I/O connectivity to your Axis PTZ cameras. Plus, with an SFP port, it supports both network and fiber installations. 

Add connectivity

With AXIS TU8003 you can easily add two-way audio and I/O connectivity to your cameras. With portcast technology, this midspan uses the camera's IP address to provide seemingly camera-integrated audio and I/O connectivity. This enables audio and video in one stream over the network with no extra VMS license. Plus, it supports both digital and unbalanced microphones.

Add power possibilities

AXIS TU8003 deliveries up 90 W and can be used to power selected PTZ cameras. Featuring a built-in SFP slot, it is perfect for long-distance installations. And, with remote on/off functionality with I/O, it's possible to save power if needed. Furthermore, this 90 W midspan is compatible with IEEE 802.3bt, IEEE 802.3af (15 W), IEEE 802.3at and Axis High PoE.

AXIS 30 W Midspan is a 1-port midspan that can deliver up to 30 W to one network device. It is IEEE 802.3af (15 W) and IEEE 802.3at (30 W) compliant, which ensures compatibility with most Axis network products with built-in PoE.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) offers an easy, fast and cost-effective solution for powering network products. With a single network cable, a PoE midspan injects power to the network device with built-in PoE support and enables data communication between the device and the switch. No need to replace existing Ethernet switches and cabling infrastructure.

AXIS 30 W Midspan AC/DC is ideal for installations where mains power is not an option. With a power input of either 10-28 V DC or 24 V AC, it can deliver up to IEEE 802.3at (30 W) to your network device. AXIS 30 W Midspan AC/DC is plug-and-play and compatible with all Axis PoE devices which require up to 30 W power.

24 V AC can be needed in harsh environments where new cabling or installations are not possible and you need to retrofit box, dome or PTZ cameras.

10-28 V DC can be used where battery back-up is needed or for solar-powered installations. Or when the network device is built in another equipment and is powered directly from it, for example, in an ATM.
