The Axiom Mini Mini 10Gbs Ethernet Media Converter series, is a 10Gigabit Ethernet stand-alone Mini unmanaged media converter that provides cost effective, entry-level media conversion between Copper RJ45 10GBASE-TX ports and 10GBase-FX fiber optic ports. Available with an open SFP port or pre-configured with an optical transceiver to fit your environment, deployments can be just plug-and-play or are fully customizable with the transceiver of your choice. With its small size, it is ideal for locations where space is limited. Choose from Multimode or Single-mode fiber connections to meet the distance requirements of your network.

The Axiom 10G SFP+ to SFP+ Optical Mode Converter provides a flexible transmission of various protocols, such as 1G/10G Ethernet, SDH STM16/STM64, OTU1/ OTU1e/OTU2/OTU2e, Fiber Channel 1/2/4/8/10, OBSAI, CPRI, etc. Using SFP+ ports with dedicated CWDM or DWDM wavelengths, the 10G Fiber to Fiber Converter supports multi-rate functionality with optical data rates from 1Gbps up to 10Gbps. With its functionality transponder is also suitable as a repeater for transmission over extended distances. In addition, the use of state of the art components greatly reduces the power requirements and heat dissipation factors over our previous transponders.

The Axiom 100Mbps POE (PSE) Series are a 10/100Base-TX to 100Base-FX media converter, which allows two types of network segment to be connected easily. Compliant with IEEE802.3af standard, the AC/DC powered PoE media converter is a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) which combines data transferred over a fiber optic link with 48V (or other voltage) power supply, providing power to IEEE802.3af powered device (PD) over CAT5e/CAT6 UTP cable (cable length up to 100meters / 330feet).
