The enterprise-class Cisco UCS B200 M6 blade server extends the capabilities of Cisco's Unified Computing System portfolio in a half-width blade form factor. The Cisco UCS B200 M6 harnesses the power of the latest 3rd Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors (Ice Lake) with:

• Up to 4 TB of RAM per CPU (using 16 x 256 GB DRAMs) or up to 6 TB per CPU (using 8 x 256 GB DRAMs and 8 x 512 GB Intel® Optane™ Persistent Memory Modules (PMEMs))
• Two solid-state drives (SSDs), or
• Two PCIE NVMe drives, or
• Mini storage carrier with M.2 SATA drives
• Up to 80 Gbps throughput connectivity.

Designed for demanding virtualization and database workloads, the UCS B480 M5 combines a large memory footprint with four-socket scalability, leveraging the 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors. higher density 256G DDR4 DIMMs, new second-generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, and the new Intel® Optane DC Persistent Memory. Additionally, these B480 M5 servers offer up to 12 terabytes (TB) of DDR4 memory or 18 TB using 24x256G DDR4 DIMMs and 24x512G Intel® Optane DC Persistent Memory; four SAS, SATA, and NVMe drives; M.2 storage; up to four GPUs and 160 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity for I/O throughput, all leading to exceptional performance, flexibility, and I/O throughput to run your most demanding applications. Up to four UCS B480 M5 Blade Servers can be installed in the UCS 5108 Blade Server Chassis.

The UCS C220 M5 LFF server extends the capabilities of Cisco's Unified Computing System portfolio in a 1U form factor with the addition of the Intel® Xeon® Processor Scalable Family, 24 DIMM slots for 2666-MHz or 2933-MHz DIMMs with capacity points up to 128 GB, 2666-MHz DCPMMs with capacity points up to 512 GB, two 2 PCI Express (PCIe) 3.0 slots, up to four SAS/SATA hard disk drives (HDDs) or solid state drives (SSDs), and one dedicated internal slot for a 12G SAS storage controller card.

The latest update includes support for 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors, 2933-MHz DDR4 memory, and the new 512GB Intel® OptaneTM DC Persistent Memory Modules (DCPMMs). With this combination of features, up to 9 TB of memory is possible (12 x 256 GB DDR4 DIMMs and 12 x 512 GB DCPMMs)

The C220 M5 LFF server includes a dedicated internal modular LAN on motherboard (mLOM) slot for installation of a Cisco Virtual Interface Card (VIC) or third-party network interface card (NIC) without consuming a PCI slot in addition to 2 x 10 Gbase-T Intel x550 embedded (on the motherboard) LOM ports.

The Cisco UCS C220 M5 server can be used standalone, or as part of the Cisco Unified Computing System, which unifies computing, networking, management, virtualization, and storage access into a single integrated architecture, enabling end-to-end server visibility, management, and control in both bare metal and virtualized environments.
