The Diva BRI offer voice, speech, conferencing, VoIP, modem and fax features, and can serve as a base for many communication applications.

The boards support many standard applications and are also suitable for new application development.

The Diva BRI are available in Low Profile or Half Size form factors. The Diva BRI can be seamlessly combined with other Diva® Media Boards, such as analog, E1/T1, ISDN PRI, and VoIP.

The Diva 4BRI-8 PCI board shares the same features with its PCI Express (PCIe) version, so the migration from PCI Server hardware to PCI Express hardware is easy.

The Diva BRI support the same set of application interfaces as other Diva Media Boards: the three Diva® APIs as well as CAPI, COM port, WAN Miniport, and TTY. Because of this consistent interface support, applications written for another Diva Media Board will normally work without modification with Diva BRI.

The Diva UM-4BRI-8 support fax transmissions on half (50%) of their available channels. The feature-set of the Diva UM series has been designed to meet the needs of typical Unified Messaging applications.

The Diva BRI-2 and 4BRI-8 boards support V.34 fax transmissions on all (100%) available channels. The Diva BRI-2 and 4BRI-8 boards are usually referred to as part of the Universal series.

Diva Analog Boards

The Diva Analog Media Boards offer voice, speech, conferencing, VoIP, modem and fax features, and can serve as a base for many communication applications. The boards are supported by many standard applications and are also suitable for new application development. Diva Analog Media Boards are available in Low Profile, Half-Size, or Full-Size form factors and are available in both PCI and PCI Express (PCIe) versions. Diva Analog can be seamlessly combined with other Diva® Media Boards, such as E1/T1, ISDN PRI/BRI, and VoIP.

Because both PCI and PCIe versions share the same feature sets, migration from a PCI Server hardware to PCI Express hardware is easy. PCI and PCIe versions can also be used in the same server.

The Diva Analog Media Boards support the same set of application interfaces as other Diva® Media Boards: the three Diva® APIs as well as CAPI, COM port, WAN Miniport and TTY. Because of consistent interface support, applications written for one Diva Media Board will normally work without modification with Diva Analog Media Boards.

The feature set of the Diva Media Boards in the UM series has been designed to meet the needs of typical Unified Messaging applications.

The Diva V-xPRI are available in Half Size and Full Size PCI Express form factor. The Half Size version has 12 DSPs and comes in versions for 1, 2, and 4 trunks. The Full Size version has 24 DSPs and comes in versions for 4 and 8 trunks.

The Diva V-xPRI can be seamlessly combined with other Diva® Media Boards, such as those supporting Analog, ISDN BRI, and VoIP.

PCI and PCIe versions can be used in the same server providing both can be physically supported by the server.

The Diva V-xPRI support the same set of application interfaces as other Diva Media Boards: the three Dialogic® Diva® APIs as well as CAPI, COM port, WAN Miniport and TTY. Although Diva Media Boards share the same interfaces, the Diva V-xPRI are the only ones that have the flexibility to allow a customer to upgrade the initial "V-series" voice feature set with four additional software licenses at any time:

• Modem - Offering modem connections up to V.90 speeds
• VoIP - Offering VoIP CODECs (AMR-NB, G.729, RTaudio)
• G.723 - Offering the G.723 CODEC
• Fax - Offering V.34 fax up to 33.6 kbps speeds

Because of consistent interface support, applications written for another Diva Media Board with comparable functionality will normally work without modification with the Diva V-xPRI Media Boards.
