The SV40KM2P4B SmartOnline® SV Series 40kVA 3-Phase On-Line Double-Conversion UPS System delivers true scalability and offers the highest level of secure, uninterrupted power protection. Featuring a modular, scalable design with high-efficiency voltage and frequency independent (VFI) operation, this on-line UPS system is ideal for protecting a variety of critical IT systems.

The SV40KM2P4B includes pre-installed input, bypass and output breakers, as well as a static transfer switch (STS), two 20kVA SV20PM power modules and four SVBM battery modules. Space is included for up to two additional user-installable SV20PM power modules. External ±120VDC battery options, such as BP240V370, are also available from Tripp Lite for even more extended runtime.

The Java-free HTML5-based WEBCARDLX interface enables full remote access for site power and UPS status monitoring, configuration, control and email notifications via secure web browser, SNMP, telnet or SSH. It supports 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimum communication with an Ethernet network.

With up to 92% efficiency in standard mode and up to 99% efficiency in optional economy mode, this 40kVA UPS system helps you reduce operating and cooling costs. Automatic and manual bypass options keep connected equipment operational during routine maintenance or critical power module failure. This UPS system for hospitals contains a replaceable lithium iron phosphate (LiFePhos) internal battery that provides up to 30 times the cycle life of traditional sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries. The 6-outlet UPS system provides up to 42 minutes of battery backup at half load and 18 minutes at full load. During normal operation, incoming utility power keeps the replaceable internal battery fully charged, so backup power will always be available.

Audible alarms can be disabled through the front menu when the UPS goes to battery power. The LCD rotates to accommodate both rack-mount and tower installation.

Advanced Communications Ports Allow for Automatic Saves and Shutdowns
RS-232 and USB ports connect to a device for a variety of communication options (cables are included). A dry-contact relay port can be programmed through the LCD to provide reliable communications to automation and industrial components. The RPO/ROO port permits emergency shutdown or remote restart of all connected equipment.
