The service temperature range of the Z-Essentials 1500D is from -40°F to 130°F (-40°C to 54°C), with a minimum application temperature of 40°F (4°C). This means that the label can be used in a variety of environments, from cold storage units to warm shipping containers. The Z-Essentials 1500D is compliant with the FDA 175.105 code for indirect food contact, making it a suitable choice for application to shrink wrap and other food packaging.

Z-Essentials 1500D labels feature a protective topcoat on the facestock that provides additional durability for the printed image and some resistance to additional environmental factors. This means that the labels can better withstand a variety of environments and will remain scannable for a longer period compared to uncoated labels. The labels also provide good print quality and sharper image definition.
