Securio P36 Optical Media Shredder meets DOD and NSA/CSS 02-01 and 04-02 mandatory security requirements. High-quality materials provide safety and durability. Cutting rollers are made of hardened solid steel. Shredder uses Energy Management Control System (EMCS) to deal with energy in a sensible manner by reducing energy consumption up to 90 percent. It automatically switches to energy-saving mode in 2 minutes after last use; switches off entirely if not used for 4 hours; switches to temporary mode for small shredding jobs; and permanent mode for large shredding jobs. Anti-Jam technology easily and quickly reverses paper if the machine is overloaded. LED indicates machine status, container full, cutting unit blocked, button locked, paper jam and door open/safety element not latched. Shredder also features separate reverse button, removable waste container and integrated auto oiler.
