Cisco® 829 Industrial Integrated Services Routers are ruggedized integrated services routers designed for deployment in harsh industrial environments. The 829 Industrial Integrated Services Routers have a compact form factor, integrated 9-32 VDC power input, and multimode 3G and 4G LTE wireless WAN and IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN connections. With it, you can rapidly deploy a wide variety of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, including fleet management, mass transit, and remote asset monitoring. The 829 routers are designed to withstand hostile environments including shock, vibration, dust, humidity, and water sprayed from all directions, as well as a wide temperature range (-40°C to +60°C and type-tested at +85°C for 16 hours). The 829 brings together enterprise-grade wireline-like services such as quality of service (QoS), Cisco advanced VPN technologies (DMVPN, Flex VPN and GETVPN) and multi-VRF for WAN, highly secure data, voice, video and IoT communications and Cisco IOx, an open, extensible environment for hosting applications at the network edge.

The IR829 supports the latest Third-Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), Release 9, Category 3 and Category 4 LTE standards. The routers provide persistent, reliable LTE connectivity transparent hand-offs between LTE and 3G networks.

The Cisco 860 Series Integrated Services Routers combine Internet access, security, and wireless services onto a single, secure device that is simple to use and manage for small businesses. Cisco 860 Series delivers features, including firewall, IPSec VPNs, and WLANs, at broadband speeds to small offices. Easy deployment and centralized management features enable the Cisco 860 Series to be deployed by service providers in small businesses.

Cisco 880 Series Integrated Services Routers are the next generation of fixed-configuration routers that provide collaborative business solutions for secure data communication to small businesses and enterprise teleworkers. The 3G wireless option available on these routers offers a cost-effective, rapidly deployable, reliable, and secure backup solution. With data rates approaching T1 speeds, 3G wireless can be used for primary WAN connectivity in locations where wireline services such as DSL and ISDN are not available or are too expensive to deploy.

Cisco 890 Series Routers are ideal for service provider deployments as Metro Ethernet customer premises equipment (CPE). Cisco 891 and 892 Integrated Services Routers include two onboard WAN interfaces, one Gigabit Ethernet WAN port with an RJ-45 connector and a SFP socket (Cisco 892F only), and one Fast Ethernet WAN port to support the high-bandwidth demands of Metro Ethernet deployments. The router also provides failover protection and load balancing. The 8-port managed switch provides enough LAN ports for connecting multiple devices, and the optional PoE capability can supply power to IP phones or other devices. The Cisco 890 Series provides significant value to customers by simplifying deployment of Ethernet WAN services with end-to-end OAM, SLA monitoring and verification, and configuration management, resulting in increased operational efficiency and reduced operating expenses (OpEx).
