IEEE 802.11ac technology

• With the IEEE 802.11ac wave 2 radio, the AT-AP500 supports up to 2.2Gbps of raw wireless capacity in the 5GHz band.
• Both radios are capable of performing spectrum analysis while simultaneously providing client access (future software release).
• 802.11ac wave 2 MU-MIMO means that the AT-AP500 can simultaneously send traffic to up to four client devices.

Multiple-SSIDs and SSID-to-VLAN mapping

• SSID enables wireless connectivity for client devices that are assigned different security policies. Mapping SSIDs to VLANs creates logical network separation, which differentiates between communication by application, functions or user communities.

Dynamic VLANs

• Dynamic VLANs allow VLANs to be dynamically assigned on a per-user (wireless client) basis. The Dynamic VLAN feature interacts with an external RADIUS server, so that user information is centralized in RADIUS for ease of management. It is not necessary to configure user information on APs.
• The AT-AP500 also supports RADIUS server redundancy, via configuration of a secondary RADIUS server.

PoE - IEEE 802.3at conformance

• The AT-AP500 conforms to the IEEE 802.3at standard. This enables simplified deployment, lower installation costs and centralized power management capabilities for critical network devices.

Mounting options

• The AT-AP500 includes a kit for easy mounting on both walls and ceilings.

The MWS Series wireless APs support IEEE802.11a/b/g/n or IEEE802.11a/b/g/n/ ac. Dual-band support utilizes the 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz frequencies at the same time.

The MWS Series is equipped with advanced encryption and authentication IEEE 802.11i capabilities. These APs protect WLANs by segmenting public and private access with multiple Service Set Identifications (SSIDs) and VLAN Tagging. Rogue AP detection prevents unauthorized entry to the wireless network.

MWS600AP supports two IEEE802.11n spatial streams, with throughput of 300Mbps in the 2.4GHz band and 300Mbps in the 5GHz band.

MWS1750AP supports three IEEE 802.11n/ac spatial streams, with throughput of 450Mbps in the 2.4GHz band and1.3Gbps in the 5GHz band.

Band Steering

• The MWS Series prioritizes connection to the 5GHZ band wherever possible, to minimize interference with the busy 2.4GHZ band.

• It is possible to activate/deactivate SSIDs and restart APs with automatic scheduling.

Fast Handover

• Clients connecting to an AP where signal strength is low can be forcibly handed over to an AP with a stronger signal.

• The Web-based user interface is user-friendly and intuitive, minimizing training needs.

The Allied Telesis TQ1402 is a 2-radio wireless access point based on IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 technology with two spatial streams to deliver a raw capacity of 1.167 Gigabits.

The Allied Telesis TQ5403 Enterprise-Class Wireless Access Point features IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 technology with two spatial streams to deliver a raw capacity of 2.133 Gigabits.

OVERVIEW

The TQ5403 is based on IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 technology and benefits from multi-user MIMO to communicate with multiple devices simultaneously. With 2 spatial streams, it can deliver three times the performance of an IEEE 802.11n access point (AP).

This power efficient AP provides two 5GHz and one 2.4GHz radio, embedded antennas, and a comprehensive feature set in a small form factor. The TQ5403 is suitable for a wide range of applications, providing superior wireless connectivity for customers from SMBs to large Enterprises.

Smaller businesses can operate the TQ5403 in standalone mode, using its intuitive web-based user interface. For larger installations it can be managed by the innovative Allied Telesis Autonomous Wave Control (AWC). With AWC, the wireless network is regularly analyzed, and APs are dynamically updated to reduce interference, minimize coverage gaps, and optimize performance-all with no user intervention. Allied Telesis' network management platform, Vista Manager EX, has an AWC wireless management plugin that supports up to 3,000 APs.

Flexible deployment options enable easy installation in all environments, with the TQ5403 able to be used on the desktop, or mounted on a wall or ceiling. Power may be supplied by Power over Ethernet, for the simplicity of having the Ethernet network connect and power the APs, or by an optional AC power adapter.
