This chassis-based, modular crosspoint switching system enables you and others to switch and extend HD video, audio, and serial data over extremely long distances. Use it in any application where many users have to interface with CPUs and other high-end AV equipment supporting high-quality video. Plus, it works as a video matrix switch.

Using non-blocking switch technology, the DKM FX processes and routes DVI single-link resolutions, including Full HD 1080p, with little or no delay of video - even at screens far away from the switching chassis itself. The DKM FX also supports Display Port video signals up to 4K60.

What's more, it not only supports DVI-D digital video, but also VGA video and connections to a wide array of peripherals, including USB HID, USB 2.0, RS232, and IR devices, Wacom® tablets, and even legacy PS/2 keyboards and mice.

It's especially ideal for enterprise networks and mission-critical control/command rooms, as well as video production or broadcasting applications where HD video is everything. Many users can connect their KVM consoles to various multimedia sources (computers, CPUs, servers, etc.), either locally or in a distant room or office via the switch.

And it's very flexible. The DKM FX HD Video and Peripheral Matrix Switch enables you to configure HD KVM switching and DVI routing exactly as you require. Mix and match fiber and CATx ports through cards and SFPs plugged into its slots.

With the switch, you get a controller card, which has USB keyboard/mouse and HDMI monitor connectors for local KVM administration; a dual RJ-45 port for interfacing up with your network and a client machine that has the DKM FX Java tool installed; and a serial port for control via an external RS232 device; and an SDI gunlock interface. Because the card has a built-in CPU, you can control all functions from any console without the need for an external CPU or media controller.

OS platform independent, the switch and its controller card can be accessed by Windows®, Linux®, and/or Mac OS® users.

The iPath Controller helps to build and manage an Agility IP-Based KVM Switching and Extension Network. The controller connects multiple Agility extender units and allows to combine cross-point switching and point-to-point extension to build a KVM matrix system that works over a local area network (LAN). The iPATH management system controls transmitters, receivers, users, passwords, and access rights over a single IP network.

If combined and managed by iPath, Agility transmitter and receiver units allow multiple users to access multiple host computers hosted in a secure, central location. The iPATH Agility Controller centrally manages these connections. Using the intuitive iPATH web-based interface, one or more administrators can manage potentially thousands of users who are interacting with an almost unlimited number of devices.

With support for pixel-perfect HD video, audio, USB, and serial signals, the IP-based Agility KVM matrix switching system is extremely flexible in terms of adding additional user stations and computers as the need arises. Since it uses standard Ethernet protocol (i.e. a managed IP switch) to operate, no proprietary technology is used to enable switching. This facilitates both the implementation and future management of the KVM network.

Easy to Configure, Deploy, and Operate
iPATH operates as a self-contained compact server (including its own DHCP server) unit that can be situated anywhere within your network of Agility devices. It is supplied pre-loaded and is straightforward to deploy, requiring only a network connection and a power input to begin operation. All configuration of your Agility local units (channels), remote units, and users are performed using the intuitive iPATH browser interface via a network-connected computer.

Each Channel is a Virtual Transmitter
In most cases, video, audio, and USB streams will originate from a single transmitter. However, with iPATH, you can arrange for the video and USB streams to come from one source, and audio to stream from another source. You could also have two channels coming from a host computer with different access rights.

Groups Facilitate Administration
To accommodate potentially large numbers of users and devices, iPATH uses a system of groups: User Groups, Receiver Groups, and Channel Groups. Groups enable the system administrators to apply collective settings to all members, and for those members to benefit from settings and permissions in other groups where appropriate. This saves administrators time.

Active Directory Support
To streamline administration further, iPATH supports Active Directory. By synchronizing with an LDAP/Active Directory server, users' details (including usernames, passwords, and group memberships) can be securely synchronized from existing databases. This minimizes initial configurations and streamlines ongoing updates.

Administration Rights
System administrators are able to add, edit, and remove users, passwords, and access rights via the Agility iPATH Controller. Also, the admin can designate a hotkey sequence that users use to log in to the system. Once users are logged in, they are able to see a list of target computers that are available to them. The admin can see who is actively logged into the system, and also force a user to switch to a specific target.

The DKM Compact II KVM Matrix Switches come in sizes of 1, 2, and 4 RU. With their capability to facilitate 1G and 3G technology within a single frame, they support modern applications with a mix of HD and 4K video resolutions in a very economical way. Their custom-design chassis allows for future field upgradability, so you can scale your system from 40 ports to 80 ports or even up to 160 ports to meet your business needs.

Extend Signals up to 140 Meters over CATx
These DKM Switches enable you to extend KVM signals up to 140 meters (459 feet) over standard CATx cable. If you're using CATx 3G, you can extend signals up to 100 meters (328 feet).

Grid Connectivity
With a 10G grid option, you can link multiple DKM Compact II KVM Switches together to create a bigger system. This functionality allows you to build a homogeneous large matrix grid for your enterprise.

Setup Is Simple
Just connect extender units to the chassis, and the internal application control software will recognize and auto-configure the port as a transmitter or receiver device. This technology saves a ton of time for system installers, who normally have to preconfigure ports to specific I/O requirements.

Switch between Sources Instantly
The DKM system supports instant switching technology. Switching between sources is glitch-free and instantaneous to reduce eye strain and annoying video tearing common in lesser solutions.

Where centralized switching of KVM is necessary, DKM is the perfect KVM solution. It is especially suited for factory floor automation control systems, traffic control, and command and control environments.
