The ComNet™ FVT/FVR4014 video transmitter/data transceiver and video receiver/data transceiver series utilize 10-bit digital encoding and decoding for highquality video transmission that meets the requirements of EIA RS-250C for short-haul video transmission. These environmentally hardened units provide transmission of four independent video channels and four bi-directional data channels over one optical fiber and are ideal for use in unconditioned roadside or out-of-plant installations. These units are completely transparent to and universally compatible with any NTSC, PAL, or SECAM CCTV camera systems, data channels can be set independently for RS232, RS422 and 2 or 4-wire RS485 with tri-state support. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation and no electrical or optical adjustments are ever required. Bi-color (Red/Green) LED indicators are provided for rapidly ascertaining equipment operating status. Packaged in the exclusive ComNet ComFit housing, these units may be either wall or rackmounted, or may be DIN-rail mounted by the addition of ComNet model DINBKT1 adaptor plate.

The ComNet™ FVT/FVR4014SHR series of optical video links provides four 10-bit digital video channels, medium haul video quality, and four bi-directional data channels and a "Dual Optical Port" (DOP) Self-Healing Ring (SHR) topology. Up to (8) video channels and multiple video receivers can be "Daisy Chained" on one optical fiber. The Self-Healing Ring (SHR) topology using the Dual Optical Ports (DOP) provide fail safe operation in the event of loss of one fiber or one optical module. Each optical port uses wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) to both transmit and receive on one optical fiber. The data channels support RS232, RS422 and 2 wire and 4 wire RS485. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation and no electrical or optical adjustments are ever required. Bi-color (Red/Green) LED indicators are provided for confirming operating status. These units are interchangeable between stand-alone or card mount configurations.

The ComNet™ FVT/FVR4012(M)(S)1 Series transmits four (4) channels of video utilizing state of the art 10-bit digital encoding and decoding for very high quality video transmission, along with two (2) channels of bi-directional data and one (1) bi-directional contact closure over one single mode or multimode optical fiber. This equipment is environmentally hardened and suitable for use in unconditioned roadside or out-of plant installations. The FVT/FVR4012 is compatible with NTS C, PAL and SE CAM video transmission protocols and supports bi-directional RS 232, 422 and 485 (2 & 4 Wire) data. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation and no electrical or optical adjustments are required.

Bi-Color LED indicators are provided to indicate the status of the system, video and data. Packaged in the exclusive ComNet ComFit housing, these units may be either wall or rack-mounted, or may be DIN-rail mounted by the addition of ComNet model DINBKT1 adaptor plate. No additional parts or power supplies are required.

The ComNet FVT/FVR(X)MI[/M] features an HDMI™ fiber link for uncompressed highresolution bi-directional communication with full HDCP copyright protection, EDID and CEC connection functionality. The FVT/FVR(X)MI[/M] transmits pixel-for-pixel images and full 24-bit scan rate with no contouring or bit reduction. Fully compatible with HDMI™ compliant sources and monitors, supporting all possible horizontal and vertical sync configurations. The FVT/FVR(X)MI[/M] transmits up to 8 channels of uncompressed audio at sample sizes of 16-bit, 20-bit and 24-bit, with sampling rates of 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz, 176.4 kHz and 192 kHz. This series also supports any IEC 61937-compliant compressed audio stream, such as Dolby Digital and DTS, and up to 8 channels of one-bit DSD audio (as used on SACD/Super Audio CDs), and at rates up to four times that of Super Audio CD, and lossless compressed audio streams such as Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
