The ComNet™ FVT/FVR20D2I1C4E environmentally hardened units provide transmission of two independent video channels and two bi-directional data channels. They also provide transmission of one Aiphone™ intercom channel and four contact closure channels with tamper supervision in addition to one 10/100Mbps Ethernet channel. The FVT/FVR20D2I1C4E has dual SFP optical ports to provide a redundant point-to-point fail safe topology in the event of loss of one fiber or one optical module. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation and no electrical or optical adjustments are ever required.

The ComNet series video transmitters and receivers support the transmission of one, two, or four independent short-haul quality 10-bit digital video signals and one, two, or four contact closures in the direction of the video over multimode or single mode optical fibers. This module is universally compatible with major CCTV camera manufacturers. The receivers are compatible with the FVT10C1(M,S)1[/M] series or FVT1(M,S)1/M single channel transmitters. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation and no electrical or optical adjustments are ever required.

These environmentally hardened units provide transmission of two independent video channels and four bi-directional data channels over one optical fiber and are ideal for use in unconditioned roadside or out-of-plant installations. These units are completely transparent to and universally compatible with any NTSC, PAL, or SECAM CCTV camera systems, data channels can be set independently for RS232, RS422 and 2 or 4-wire RS485 with tri-state support. Plugand-play design ensures ease of installation and no electrical or optical adjustments are ever required. Bi-color (Red/Green) LED indicators are provided for rapidly ascertaining equipment operating status. Packaged in the exclusive ComNet ComFit housing, these units may be either wall or rack-mounted, or may be DIN-rail mounted by the addition of ComNet model DINBKT1 adaptor plate.
