the ComNet™ CNMCsFP/M is a single channel ethernet converter from electrical to optical and optical to electrical. this device accepts a 10/100 or 1000 Mbps (Megabits Per second) electrical input and converts this to a 100 or 1000 Mbps optical output (selected by a dip switch) and the 100/1000 Mbps optical input back to the 10/100/1000 Mbps electrical output. "auto-Negotiating" is supported on the copper interface side. this device uses either one or two optical fibers, depending upon the selection of soldseparately sFP* optical module.

LED indicators display that the optical Link is connected and that there is Data activity on the channel.

The ComNet CNMC[2]SFP/[M]V series Ethernet to VDSL2 media converters accept a 10/100/1000 Mbps electrical input and convert this to a SFP-VDSL output and the SFP-VDSL input back to the 10/100/1000 Mbps electrical output. "Auto-Negotiating" is supported on the copper interface side. Connect SFP-VDSL devices using a twisted 2-wire cable. Refer to connection paragraph for details. The series consists of a smallsize single channel model, CNMCSFP/MV, and a ComFit standard size, dual channel model, CNMC2SFP/V.

The CNMCSFP/MV media converters are designed specially for the VDSL-SFP (sold separately).

Purpose Built Professional Security

The ComNet™ CNMCSFPbt is an industrial grade / environmentally hardened fiber optic Ethernet transceiver (media converter) that complies with the PoE standard as defined by the IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 while maintaining backward compatibility with the previous standards as defined by IEEE802.3at-2009 and IEEE802.3af-2003.

The media converter consists of one DIP switch selectable 100/1000BASE-X SFP port, and one auto-negotiating 10/100/1000BASE-T(X) RJ-45 PSE port. When supplied with an operating power input of 52 to 56 VDC, PoE that is compliant with the PoE standard as defined by IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 is produced, capable of delivering up to 90 W of PoE to a compliant powered device (PD). CNMCSFPbt is designed to allow for optional redundant operating power inputs.

Link Fault Pass Through (LFPT) is DIP switch selectable. When engaged, LFPT disables the copper side signal on loss of optical link and disables the fiber signal on loss of electrical link.

A PoE model, the CNMCSFPPOE/M meets the IEE802.3at standard and provides 30 watts of PoE+ power. The series consists of a small-size single channel model, CNMCSFP/M; a ComFit standard size, single-channel model, CNMCSFP; a dual channel model, CNMC2SFP; and a quad channel model, the CNMC4SFP.

The ComNet™ FVT15M2 video transmitter/data receiver and the FVR15M2 video receiver/data transmitter support the simultaneous transmission of video and return data over two multimode optical fibers. These modules are universally compatible with all major CCTV camera manufacturers and supports RS232 and RS422 data interfaces and all major data protocols. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation and no electrical or optical adjustments are ever required. Bi-color (Red/Green) LED indicators are provided for rapidly ascertaining equipment operating status. These units are interchangeable between stand-alone or card mount configurations.
