The selection of MSA Compliant Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) modules allows for an optical or electrical interface when using a managed switch, unmanaged switch or media converter. These interchangeable SFP modules are available for use with copper media, multimode optical fiber, or single mode optical fiber. The optical fiber SFP modules are available in Fast Ethernet one and two fiber versions and Gigabit Ethernet one and two fiber versions. They also are available with LC or SC optical connectors. The SFP modules offer different wavelengths and optical power budget to allow distances up to 20 kilometers. These SFP modules are industrially rated to perform in the most difficult operating environments.

The SWT-F11MGHP has three 100/1000Base-FX SFP ports and eight 10/100Base-TX ports. Two of the SFP ports support 2.5 Gbps SFPs for high-speed communication in bandwidthintensive applications. All SFP ports utilize SFP modules for fiber and connector type, and distance selection. The Port Guardian feature provides additional cybersecurity protection by enabling physical port lockout in the event that an existing cable is disconnected and prevents a potential network incursion using common spoofing techniques. The intrusion event is reported back to the operator using SNMP. The switch offers multiple Ethernet redundancy protocols which protect your applications from network interruptions or temporary malfunctions by redirecting transmission within the network. Advanced IP-based management can limit the maximum bandwidth for each connected IP device, allowing the user to adjust usage. The SWT-F11MGHP provides eight electrical ports supporting up to 30 watts of PoE+ power, and four of the eight PoE ports can support up to 60 watts of PoE power. All PoE ports are IEEE802.3af/IEEE802.3at compliant.

The TER-F01 is an Ethernet repeater supporting up to 60 watts of Pass-through PoE, providing a simple and cost-effective way to extend Ethernet signals beyond the standard Ethernet 328 foot (100 meter) limit. The TER-F01 can be used to double the distance to 656 feet (200 meters) or multiple units can be combined in series with each unit providing an additional 328 feet (100 meters). The TER-F01 is powered by pass-through PoE from a PoE switch or midspan injector, requiring no local power. Low power consumption ensures that maximum power is made available to the remote PD device. Available in standard configuration, which passes through the PoE to the next device, or as a PD model, which acts as the final PoE unit in the chain and does not pass through the PoE, providing maximum flexibility for all design scenarios. The compact tube design allows for direct installation within conduit or other small enclosures.
