The family of AIR ID Enroll contactless smart card readers eliminates the need for manual entry, providing error-free identifcation. AIR ID is compatible with nearly all 13.56 MHz contactless cards/tags/labels. This reader allows users to use their building access card or other 13.56 MHz tags for other forms of identifcation and security throughout the workplace. The plug-n-play reader comes with flash memory, allowing the user to quickly confgure the output to meet the user's needs.

Contact smart cards have a contact, or “chip," area with several contact pads that, when inserted into a Manhattan Smart Card Reader, can authenticate the user and safely transfer information between the card and the host computer. They replace less secure and less reliable barcode ID and magnetic stripe cards to provide flexible and standard transactions and strong, tamper-resistant authentication with minimal human intervention.
