multiCLASS SE® readers simplify migration from legacy technologies with support 125 kHz for HID Prox, Indala, AWID and EM4102, and provide customers the assurance that their existing investments can be leveraged to enhance their system as business requirements change. The technology-independent readers also support iCLASS® Seos™ and iCLASS SE credential platforms, as well as standard iCLASS, MIFARE and MIFARE DESFire EV1 with custom data models and other leading technologies.

The pivCLASS® solutions portfolio includes a broad selection of contact, contactless and biometric pivCLASS® Readers for agencies to meet to meet the requirements for any assurance level and the NIST SP 800-116 guidelines. The readers work with the pivCLASS® Authentication Module (PAM) to meet requirements at any assurance level. pivCLASS readers also provide fully functional backward compatibility with existing iCLASS® and HID Prox readers, easing the transition from legacy cards to PKI-based credentials. Up to two pivCLASS readers can connect to a PAM via four-wire RS-485 connections, typically enabling facilities to re-use much of their existing wiring. Key Features:

Using 13.56 MHz contactless smart card technology, the iCLASS® RK40 provides a powerful solution. Combine a contactless card presentation with a personal identification number (PIN) to support dual authentication of identity. Or, configure the panel for single-factor authentication, using only a card or a PIN.

The PIN can be verified either at the access control panel or locally by the keypad reader. When verified locally, the PIN must be programmed into the iCLASS card.

Featuring crisp architectural styling, the keypad reader has an elegantly curved faceplate. The 12-position weatherproof keypad uses discrete switches to provide positive tactile response, optionally reinforced by an audible tone. The keypad also features a waterproof silicone rubber boot, vandal-resistant metal keycaps, and backlit numbering.
