Tripp Lite N286-01GSX-MDLC, SFP+ (mini-GBIC) transceiver module, is designed for use with Cisco networking equipment, and is functionally equivalent to Cisco part number GLC-SX-MMD=. This transceiver is manufactured to meet or exceed the specifications of the original Cisco unit, and to comply with Multi Source Agreement (MSA) standards. Tripp Lite guarantees 100% compatibility with Cisco networking hardware, and will initialize and perform identically to an OEM transceiver. The N286-01GSX-MLC HP J4858C Compatible 1000Base-SX LC SFP Transceiver with an LC female connector functions just like the HP J4858C transceiver module and is designed to operate with HP networking equipment. It also meets or exceeds the J4858C's original specifications and complies with MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) standards.

This 1000Base-SX transceiver is fully hot-pluggable, so you can install it without shutting down the network or rebooting your device. It supports data transfer rates up to 1 Gbps with 850 nm wavelength signaling. It transmits across 1,804 feet (550 meters) of 50/125 MMF cabling or 722 feet (220 meters) of 62.5/125 MMF cabling.

The N286-01GSX-MLC also supports digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM), so you can monitor optical output power, optical input power, temperature, laser bias current and transceiver supply voltage.

Multi-Resolution Support Allows Mixing and Matching of Displays of Different Resolutions
Say you have a brand new 4K/60 Hz HDTV in one room, but want to also connect your Blu-ray player or satellite box to an older 1080p TV in another room. The B127A-004-BHPH3 is backward compatible with 4K/30 Hz and 1080p resolutions via automatic switching, allowing each connected monitor to display video at its maximum resolution.

Local HDMI Port on Transmitter Supports 4K @ 60 Hz Resolution
To monitor the video signal being extended to the receivers, connect a 4K display to the splitter's local HDMI port with the included HDMI cable. This port does not support multi-resolution capabilities, so the connected monitor must also support 4K/60 Hz to function properly.

Built-In PoC Technology Provides Receiver Power to Avoid Bulky External Power Bricks
Power over Cable (PoC) technology powers the connected receivers over Cat6 cable. LEDs indicate when the system is receiving power and a signal is being transmitted. Create a Daisy Chain of Displays to Achieve Even More Distance
This extender kit is capable of forming daisy-chain installations up to 920 feet (280.4 meters) from the transmitter by connecting additional B127A-110-BH transceivers (sold separately) and HDMI displays. Up to four total B127A-110-BH transceivers can be chained together, each capable of extending a 4K/60 Hz signal up to 230 feet per unit. The transceiver is also compatible with Tripp Lite's B127A-010-H signal booster (sold separately), which allows the signal to be boosted up to 400 feet (121.9 meters) total between the transmitter and transceiver. When used in a daisy-chain installation, this brings the total extension distance up to 1,090 ft. (332.2 meters). Note: B127A-010-H will only work when used in the first link of the daisy-chain installation.
