The PA series of compact commercial rack mount power amplifiers are designed for demanding sound reinforcement, background music/paging and public address system installations where long term reliability and flex- ibility is the ticket. These units are exceptional values, loaded with features and are easy to install in a variety of system designs. The models in the PA series range from 160 to 450 watts of power per channel in a compact 2RU package.

All models have a variety of features which enables them to be cus- tomized to a wide range of demanding commercial sound and audio reinforcement applications. The PA1250T, PA2250T and PA2400T all provide 70/100V output capability using low distortion output trans- formers for wide bandwidth and minimal saturation.

Compact and Easy To Install

The input connectors are a 3pin phoenix style which provide balanced audio. The speaker outputs also feature convenient phoenix style quick disconnect terminals to facilitate pre-wiring of the installation. Built in rack mount ears and rear rack supports provide secure and convenient mounting.

Complete Protection Package

A comprehensive 4 way protection package in every PA series amplifier helps protect the amplifier and speaker for reliable long term performance. The package provides complete protection for excessive temperature, audio limiters, power up delay and peak current limiters. All PA series models provide excellent headroom for a wide dynamic range on music signals. The onboard dynamic limiter protects the amplifier and speaker from dangerous transients.

All the PA amplifier models feature a low distortion amplifier design which can be bridged for more power flexibility in multi channel models. The physical chassis of the PA series is also designed for reliability. Ample internal cooling capacity ensures reliable operation. The PA series runs cool and stable with the direct flow thru chassis layout. The multistage cooling fan runs exceptionally quiet in all modes.

The PC-18/FL is a multi-pattern miniature gooseneck podium microphone designed for sound reinforcement systems where sound quality and gain-before-feedback is of major importance. The multi-pattern versatility of the PolarChoice microphone makes it true "problem solver". With three directional and one non- directional polar pattern available, the PolarChoice microphone is ideal for virtually any installation. Polar patterns can be easily changed, using a small flat bladed screwdriver with the front mounted rotary control on the external electronics module.

The PolarChoice PC-12/XLR and PolarChoice PC-18/XLR are highly-shielded from RFI/GSM, multi-pattern, miniature gooseneck podium microphones designed for sound reinforcement systems where sound quality and gain-before-feedback is of major importance. The multi-pattern versatility of the PolarChoice microphone makes it a true "problem solver". With three (3) directional and one (1) non-directional polar pattern available, the PolarChoice microphone is ideal for virtually any installation. Altering the polar pattern does not change the on-axis sonic character of the microphone; therefore changes in equalizer settings are unnecessary. The PolarChoice PC-12/XLR and PolarChoice PC-18/XLR are acoustically designed for high-quality sound reinforcement and broadcast applications. The frequency response is tailored for wide-range sound reproduction with very natural sound pick-up for either distant or close-up use.

The small, dual diameter gooseneck has two (2) supple joints and a rigid center tube. The rigid tube prevents unsightly twisting of the gooseneck but permits the user to exactly position the microphone. The electronics housing's 3/4-inch diameter base is terminated with a male XLR-type 3-pin connector that allows the microphone to be plugged directly into an existing panel-mount XLR receptacle. The housing is machined brass for ruggedness and superior EMI/RFI attenuation. The PolarChoice PC-12/XLR and PolarChoice PC-18/XLR are designed to be phantom-powered with a wide voltage range of 12-52V dc (DIN Standard 45 596).
