Think of it like this: the transfer belt is to your laser printer is what your engine is to your car. If you don't change your oil every 3,000 or so miles, your car isn't going to perform to its potential. The Lexmark Optra C710 Transfer Kit contains a replacement transfer belt and transfer roller that works together to ensure brilliant color printing for up to 100,000 images.

This feature lets the printer fold papers in different ways without taking up more space. Folding patterns include Z-Fold, C-Fold, Envelope C-Fold and Envelope Z-Fold. Can provide Envelope C-Fold and Envelope Z-Fold for up to 3 sheets at one time for letter and A4.

Media Support

Supports the same sizes, weights and types of media that the printer supports.

Location

Can provide as an additional Output Bin for some media when used with the 1250 or 2250 Finishers. The folding paper transport unit does not increase the product footprint.

Sensing

Sensors detect if the bin is full (standard bin only).

Considerations

Supported functions will depend on media size and weight. The folding transport can be used as a standalone device without a floor standing finisher.

The Paper Transport Unit moves pages from the printer to either the 1250-Sheet Staple Hole Punch Finisher or the 2250-Sheet Booklet Staple Hole Punch Finisher.

Sensing

Bin full sensing is not supported.

This card enables printing of the Kyocera PRESCRIBE data stream on Lexmark network printers.

Replace a Kyocera PRESCRIBE printer

The printer with this card is designed to be a replacement for a Kyocera printer where the Kyocera PRESCRIBE printer language is used. Supports only black and white printing.

It is important that a thorough technical evaluation and certification test be conducted with each prospective customer to determine whether or not this feature is applicable.

Emulation support

Supports emulation of Kyocera Page Printers such as FS-600, FS-800, FS-1500, FS-1600, 1550, FS-1700, FS-1700+, FS-3700+, FS-6700 or FS-7000.

Evaluation and Test

Since Kyocera does not offer a single standard version of PRESCRIBE across all of its products, the emulation compatibility of this version is based upon testing with customer application test files in addition to an extensive set of engineering command-level tests.
