The ComNet CopperLine® Ethernet over copper CL(L,R)FE(X)POE(C,U) Series supports up to sixteen channels of 10/100Mbps Ethernet with PoE+ Power Injection and Pass-through PoE+ over twisted pair cable (CAT-5, UTP) or over coax. With the ability to connect directly to a PoE+ switch, or the ability to generate PoE+ power with a 48 to 56 V input* to either the Local or Remote ends, these units provide the ultimate flexibility for extending a powered device (PD) over long distance copper. A complete set includes both a Local and Remote module. Remote units are available in small package sizes that include one or four channels, and Local modules are available in the same packages as well as a 1RU rack for larger channel counts.

Solar Power Ethernet Kit for Remote Locations 30 Watts Continuous Power System with 6 Hours of Peak Sunlight

The NetWave NWKSP3 Solar off the grid power system is designed for applications where a remote camera or wireless repeater is needed but power is not available or the cost to run power is too expensive. NetWave Solar is a complete system for providing remote power to edge communications equipment. The kit includes high quality photovoltaic solar panels, valve-regulated lead-acid batteries, outdoor enclosure, solar charge controller, PoE midspan injector and mounting hardware. The steel outdoor enclosure has a gasket hinged lid with two tamper proof locks operated by a special key for high security. The enclosure can be mounted on a two to four inch pole or wall mounted with the included mounting hardware. The Solar Panels include a top of pole mount requiring a 4" diameter pole. A side of pole mount is available as an optional accessory. The included 30A solar charge controller supports an LCD screen for local diagnostics and system health monitoring, Intelligent PWM charging mode and battery protection from overcharge and over discharge while the batteries provide outstanding deep cycle and cold weather performance.

The ComNet™ RLFDX series of serial data link/repeaters are substation-rated and industrially hardened form, fit, function and completely backwards-compatible replacements for the popular Garrettcom/Dymec 5843 & 5844 series of RS-232 serial data link/repeaters. They are designed for deployment in environments where high levels of electromagnetic noise and interference (EMI) and severe voltage transients and surges are routinely encountered, such as electrical utility substations and switchyards, heavy manufacturing facilities, trackside and roadside electronic equipment, and other difficult out-of-plant applications. Optical connectivity provides significantly extended transmission distances compared to copper media; high levels of electrical isolation; enhanced reliability and protection for peripheral IEDs, RTUs, and other equipment; and operational safety.

The RLFDX series of serial data link/repeaters are easily field-configurable for point-to-point, point-to-multipoint/Local-Remote, loop, or bus topologies. They may be also used for electrical data protocol translation: an RLFDX232-series RS-232 modem and IED/RTU can communicate directly with an RLFDX485-series RS-422/RS-485 modem and IED/RTU.
