How do we test our new and improved Two-Pole Voltage and Continuity Testers?

Two-pole voltage and continuity testers measure voltage, but just as important is when a voltage tester tells you that there is NOT voltage present before working on any circuit. For you to rely on your two-pole tester, it has to be the most rugged and reliable tester you can find. That's what Fluke's redesigned Fluke T150 gives you. ?

The Amprobe PM55A is the ultimate pocket-sized multimeter. Only 3/8" thick and less than 3 oz in weight with full functionality offering AC and DC voltage measurement to 600 V, AC and DC current to 2000 µA, resistance to 6 Megohm, capacitance to 2000 µF, frequency to 30 kHz, diode test and continuity with beeper. It also offers VolTect™, a built-in, non-contact voltage detection feature for AC voltages.

Another key feature of this pocket multimeter is AutoTect, which automatically selects between AC and DC voltage, or resistance measurement based on the test point to which the leads are connected. Fully auto ranging, this meter offers nine different measurement functions plus features that are usually found in much more expensive and larger meters.

The digital display is oversized with large digits and unit icons in the display. In spite of its size, this pocket multimeter is fully safety rated to CAT III 300 V, CAT II 600 V and is UL listed. No other meter this small offers such performance and high safety ratings.

If you install or connect 3-phase motors and systems, you recognize the importance of verifying the correct motor rotation and wiring phase sequence. Improper connections can cause motors to rotate in reverse direction, potentially damaging the motor and the equipment it is powering.

The PRM-6 Motor and Phase Rotation Tester can test the motor rotation of 3-phase systems, and verify 3-phase receptacle wiring and phase sequencing with test leads.

An additional advanced feature is wireless motor rotation detection, which senses motor rotation direction without use of test leads. This is particularly useful for fast-running motors when the motor rotation cannot be visually determined or when the drive shaft is not visible.

Fluke ST120+ GFCI Socket Tester with Beeper

The Fluke ST120+ GFCI Socket Tester with Beeper checks that each wire in the outlet is properly connected to the building's electrical system. Via the bright LEDs and included chart, you can quickly and easily verify the wiring of an outlet. Able to identify several common wiring errors, including reversed phase and neutral wires and an open ground, the ST120+ will give you confidence on your next job.

Audible alert helps you work faster, safer

The ST120+ also gives you a unique audible alert anytime voltage is detected. Save time when trying to identify which circuit breaker is connect to which outlet. Just plug the socket tester in, walk to the circuit breaker panel, and listen for the beeper to turn off - or on - as you flip the breakers. Once it does, you've found the correct breaker. Time - and trips - saved.

When switched on, the integrated beeper can also alert you to hazardous voltage at the outlet, even if the wiring is incorrect. Working in an office, hospital or other location where you don't want to interrupt others? No problem - the beeper can be switched off.

One-button GFCI tests

The included GFCI test button on the ST120+ Socket Tester allows you to also test the operation of GFCI outlets. With a single push, the ST120+ can verify the operation of your GFCI equipped outlet. If the GFCI trips as expected, perfect, you can move on. If not, it's time to take a closer look.

Fast visual identification of all 6 wiring conditions

The ST120+ has three bright, easy-to-see LED indicators. This lets you see, at a glance, one of six wiring scenarios:

• Correct installation
• Open ground
• Open neutral
• Open hot
• Hot/neutral reversed
• Hot/ground reversed

Safer than solenoid testers and fully compliant with NFPA 70E, (when used properly per Article 110.4 Use of Equipment (A) Test Instruments and Equipment), the T+Pro helps electricians and technicians work safer by indicating the presence of voltage, even when the batteries are dead. How to use the Fluke T+ Pro Electrical Tester

The Fluke T+Pro Electrical Tester indicated AC/DC voltage in three different ways:

• Light
• Sound
• Vibration

The user will be alerted to the presence of voltage in dark or noisy environments with the light and vibration notifications. And the audible indication can be optionally disabled at the push of a button. Combine those features with the backlit LCD display function and it's easier for users to see the screen in many hard-to-test areas. The included HOLD function will freeze the display for even easier reading in those areas.

Key safety features

The T+Pro is safety rated to CAT IV 600 V, CAT III 1000 V, and is CSA approved. The tester also has a built-in flashlight for highlighting the point of measurement. A GFCI trip is included for testing outlet GFCI circuits. The T+ Pro also includes a rotary field indicator and has convenient probe storage on the back. The product is protected by a two-year warranty.
