Mount up to Three SATA Drives in Your 2019 or 2023 Mac Pro

While the 2019 or 2023 Mac Pro offers fast internal SSD storage, capacity is limited. Connecting external drives is an option, but why not just use the space and connections inside the Mac Pro to add capacity? Sonnet's Fusion Flex J3i makes it easy, enabling you to securely install and connect up to three SATA drives (sold separately) in the available space next to the PCIe card slots.

Not only does the Fusion Flex J3i provide support for mounting two 3.5-inch hard drives of your choice, the Flex's custom design provides mounting support for an additional 2.5-inch SATA SSD. Of course, the necessary mounting hardware and connecting cables are included for a clean installation.

Rugged and Custom Design

Sonnet designed the Fusion Flex J3i to make maximum use of the space and connections inside the Mac Pro; constructed out of heavy-gauge aluminum, the J3i looks right at home inside the computer. Shock and vibration isolators for 3.5-inch drives protects each drive from cross-coupled vibration from the other, safeguarding against read/write errors and retries. Mounting plates for 2.5-inch drives are included, so there's no need to purchase separate pieces to use them. Custom power and data cables deliver a clean look to the installation.

SSDs (solid state drives) offer fantastic data storage read/write speeds, in some cases delivering performance many times faster than hard disk drives are capable. But, if you want to install them in your desktop computer or multi-drive storage system, you can't use them out of the box like standard hard drives-the problem is they're too small. for 1-meter Thunderbolt 3 (40Gbps) Active Cables

Thunderbolt 3 connectors are held in place by friction-which usually works fine in setups where your gear remains protected from disturbance while operating. But, if there's a chance of movement nearby, it's possible the Thunderbolt cable can be accidentally disconnected, leading to the loss of a file or an entire project. Sonnet's ThunderLok 3L Thunderbolt connector retainer clip was designed to solve this problem by preventing accidental 1-meter Thunderbolt 3 (40Gbps) active cable disconnections from many of Sonnet's Thunderbolt 3 products.

To use it, simply slip it over the cable connector of a 1-meter Thunderbolt 3 (40Gpbs) active cable, and then plug in the connector and secure it to the product by turning a thumbscrew. Because ThunderLok 3 doesn't attach to the connector, it stays on the cable and won't get lost when not in use.
