The USB-C port supports USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 charging up to 5V 3A (15W), 9V 3A (27W), 15V 2.6A (39W), 15V 3A (45W) and 20V 2.25A (45W). The USB-A port provides up to 5V 0.9A (4.5W), as well as USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps for flash drives and other USB peripherals. It can be also used to connect and charge the Joy-Con controllers of a Nintendo Switch.

Transmits 4K Video from the USB-C Host Device

Connect a 4K display to the HDMI port. The U442-DOCK30 transmits Ultra HD 4K resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz from a USB-C host device that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone. It can stream 1080p high-definition video at 60 Hz from a Nintendo Switch.
