Ideal for installations where it's difficult to add power, this PoE extender connects to existing infrastructure and offers an easy way to extend PoE connectivity with up to 100 m range. It can power up two 30 W devices or one 60 W.

Extend your system

This PoE extender can extend the connection between your PoE switch and a 60 W Axis device supporting IEEE 802.3bt up to 100 m (328 ft). It offers flexible installation, and it can be placed in areas where plenum rating is required. Furthermore, this PoE Extender can withstand temperatures between -40 °C to 65 °C (-40 °F to 149 °F). When installed in an IP66-rated Axis surveillance cabinet it becomes weatherproof and vandal resistant.

Expand your system

With AXIS TU8010 you can also connect two 30 W Axis devices, reducing costs and installation time, as well as minimizing port usage in the switch. Furthermore, this PoE Extender requires 90 W IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 Class 8.

With its eight form C relays, A9188-VE Network I/O Relay Module is particularly useful for integrating AXIS A1001 Network Door Controller with elevator systems for floor-access management.

In addition, it can be used to extend the functionality of any Axis product, particularly when numerous I/Os or relays are needed. The module reacts on inputs, such as signals from PIR motion detectors or switches, to trigger actions. A9188-VE supports VAPIX® and AXIS Camera Application Platform (ACAP) and can also be used with AXIS Camera Station or third-party software.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) offers an easy, fast and cost-effective solution for supplying power to network video products without the need to install power outlets and electrical cabling. Simply connect the Axis PoE midspans and PoE splitters to the network, and the network video products are supplied with power.

Axis PoE midspans provide power (max. 15.4 W per port) over Ethernet cables to network video products with built-in PoE support. For a network video product without built-in PoE support, a PoE splitter must be used to separate power and data coming over the network cable.

AXIS 30 W Midspan is a 1-port midspan that can deliver up to 30 W to one network device. It is IEEE 802.3af (15 W) and IEEE 802.3at (30 W) compliant, which ensures compatibility with most Axis network products with built-in PoE.
