The ComNet™ FVT/FVR40A4 series video/audio multiplexer utilizes 10-bit video encoding for true EIA/TIA RS-250C Short-Haul broadcast quality transmission, and 24-bit encoding at a 96 Khz sampling rate for the highest possible audio fidelity. Digitally encoded transmission ensures that the video and audio performance remain completely unaffected up to the maximum usable optical transmission distance or optical path loss. These environmentally hardened units provide the transmission of four independent simplex video and four independent simplex line-level audio channels over one multimode or single mode optical fiber. The FVT/FVR40A4 series is completely transparent to and universally compatible with any NTSC, PAL, or SECAM camera system. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation, and no electrical or optical adjustments are ever required.

The ComNet series video transmitters and receivers support the transmission of one, two, or four independent short-haul quality 10-bit digital video signals and one, two, or four contact closures in the direction of the video over multimode or single mode optical fibers. This module is universally compatible with major CCTV camera manufacturers. The receivers are compatible with the FVT10C1(M,S)1[/M] series or FVT1(M,S)1/M single channel transmitters. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation and no electrical or optical adjustments are ever required.

The ComNet™ FVT/FVR40D2I1C4E environmentally hardened units provide transmission of four independent video channels and two bi-directional data channels. They also provide transmission of one Aiphone™ intercom channel and four contact closure channels with tamper supervision in addition to one 10/100Mbps Ethernet channel. The FVT/FVR40D2I1C4E has dual SFP optical ports to provide a redundant point-to-point fail safe topology in the event of loss of one fiber or one optical module. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation and no electrical or optical adjustments are ever required.

The ComNet FVT/FVR412 Series transmits four channels of video utilizing state of the art digital encoding and decoding for high-quality video transmission, along with two channels of bi-directional data and one bi-directional contact closure over one single mode or multimode optical fiber. This equipment is environmentally hardened and suitable for use in unconditioned roadside or out-of plant installations. The FVT/FVR412 is compatible with NTSC, PAL and SECAM video transmission protocols and supports bi-directional RS232, 422 and 485-2/4W data.

These environmentally hardened units provide transmission of four independent video channels and four bi-directional data channels over one optical fiber and are ideal for use in unconditioned roadside or out-of-plant installations. These units are completely transparent to and universally compatible with any NTSC, PAL, or SECAM CCTV camera systems, data channels can be set independently for RS232, RS422 and 2 or 4-wire RS485 with tristate support. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation and no electrical or optical adjustments are ever required. Bi-color (Red/Green) LED indicators are provided for rapidly ascertaining equipment operating status. Packaged in the exclusive ComNet ComFit housing, these units may be either wall or rackmounted, or may be DIN-rail mounted by the addition of ComNet model DINBKT1 adaptor plate.
